Annual Report 2016-17
Education is the manifestation of perfection already present in man----says Swami Vivekananda,emphasizing the role of education in our life.The same ideology is the basis of various scholastic and co scholastic activities organized throughout the year in this Vidyalaya.
Here I take an oppurtinuity to present before you our endeavors and achievements round the year.
To begin with:
Academics
The ultimate parameter to judge a school’s performance is the academic result.I feel glad to announce that the result of CBSE class 10 for the session 2015-16 is 100% which is quite exemplary as our 6 studentssecured 10 CGPA out of 10who are namely DeepanshuGurjar, Himanshu Sharma, HarshvardhanUpadhyaya, Parikshit Singh Chouhan, VarshaTanwar and ReenaKanwar These stalwarts have been honoured by a cash prize of rupess 5000/- each by KVS, New Delhi.
The overall result of class XII of CBSE Examination 2016 has been 89% with Master Nikhil Singh securing 92 % marks.
In Home examination of classes I to IX and XI the pass % is 97%
Apart from success in various reputed engineeiring colleges across the country 03 of our students have got success in IIT (Mains)
At this juncture,I assure the parents that an excellent academic and conducive environment has been created in the vidyalaya to produce 100% result with good quality in all classes to place this vidyalaya as one of the best Vidyalayas in Udaipur.
Co- Scholistic areas
I would like to share with the audience that a number of other activities and competitions have been organized in the Vidyalaya throughout the year. The students of the Vidyalaya have been divided into four houses namely Shivaji, Tagore, Ashoka and Raman. The various co-curricular activities have been organized as inter-house activities. The member of the staff along with the students take keen interest in the activities and motivate the students to participate in healthy environment. Competitions like Group song, Group dance, Debate, Poem recitation, Quiz, Video shows and Folk dances are organized at regular intervals.
Co-education is yet another important characteristics of Kendriya Vidyalaya, hence girl children are also given equal opportunities at par to reveal their talents in regional meets. The culmination of these activities has been the celebration of annual sports day also.
ICT & Setting up of Digital Classes
A new generation interactive white board and a wireless writing pad has been installed in Computer Lab which is technology wise, highly useful to the students and is a milestone Science and e-learning. As many as classes have been upgraded to digital class rooms where teaching learning process is being done with the help of this technology.
Exhibitions & Competitions
KENDRIYA Vidyalaya Sangathan provides opportunities to students for developing scientific attitude and temperament by organizing science exhibitions, the exhibits prepared by the students of the Vidyalaya on different subthemes and displaced at regional level as well as national level competitions.
Students of these Vidyalaya participated in cluster levels social science and national integration camp held at different KendriyaVidyalayas. 03 models were selected for the regional level exhibitions.
Bharat Scouts and Guides
Bharat Scouts and guides is another feature of our vidyalaya where a large number of students participate with zeal and enthusiasm under the guidance of our able team of scouters and guide captains. It is a matter of immense pleasure to put on record that 05 of our talented scouts and guides have been honoured with “Rashtrapatipuraskar”.
CounsellingAnd Career Guidance
Guidance and counselling provide appropriate information to students to make reasoned choice, selection in there career,Counselling is offered to help students to cope up with growing stress and face challenges of modern times.
The students were also lucky enough to get Lt-Gen. S.S Grewal’s blessings in the form of a motivational speech in vidyalaya library which proved fruitful not only for students but staff also.Regular exposure to modern innovations and experimentation is an integral part of KVS. The sangathan conducts various training programmes for teachers to keep the teachers updated with modern advancements in the field of education.
MrAlokSundrot TGT Social science,MRS PritiKaushik PGT chemistry and MR LokeshSoni PRT attended various in services courses and workshops where they secured excellent grades.
Celebrations of Days of National and International importance
We also celebrate different national and international days in the vidyalaya. Various festivals and birthdays of our great heroes have been celebrated in Vidyalayaswith great zest and enthusiasm. To name a few are the National Education Day, Teachers day, Children day, Republic Day and Independence Day, World Health Day, World Earth day etc.
Swatch Bharat Abhiyan
Swatch bharatabhiyan that is clean India campaign has become our part and parcel of life which we incorporate in our daily routine and don’t forget to include student’s community. The school organized a grand rally in consultation with Eklinggarh army station to make everyone aware of importance of cleanliness in life. The main programme was organized in army area in the chairmanship of madam sonalipatil, first lady on the station which was highly acclaimed by everyone present there.
Games And Sports
Keeping in view that games and sports is an integral part of student’s life, the school provides adequate opportunities and facilities to all the students to participate in various games and sports events at inter house, cluster, regional and national levels competitions round the year. It is quite worth mentioning that 106 students participated at regional level, 20 at national level and 03 at SGFI. Our students are making records in the field of cricket, judo and boxing. We are happy to put on record the co-operation and guidance cum coaching which is being provided by Army authorities to our students regularly.
Student Council
As per the directions of KVS Headquaters New Delhi students council has been constituted in vidyalaya MasterKartikTak was selected Head boy and Miss JyotikaChoudhary Head girl with the idea to develop leadershipqualities and foster sense of responsibility in them.
Vidyalaya Management Committee
The vidyalaya has a management committee headed by Brig. S.S Patilwith worthy representatives hailing from the fieldsof academics, medicine, culture etc. We are thankful for encouragement co-operation and support that we receive from each and every member of Vidyalaya Management Committee.
Towards the end, I am positively hopeful that under the Chairmanship and able guidance of Worthy Chairman Brig S.S Patil school will attain newerheights.
