Early Dismissal for EHS

-Spring Final Exams-

Dear Parent:

During the three days of exams, your student may leave campus as early as 11:45 a.m. with a signed parent permission form. To participate, the parent must complete a written permission form (form will be distributed on Monday 6/1/15) and the student must return the form to the teacher designated on the day of the exam. All debts, fines, and fees must be cleared off student’s account for student to be eligible to leave early.

REMEMBER:

·  Teachers have been directed to plan their exam format to last until the end of each exam period. No student will be allowed to check out before 11:45 a.m.

·  No phone calls for early dismissal will be permitted.

·  No exam can be taken early. If a student misses an exam, he or she must make it up after school is out.

·  Car rider pick up area for early dismissal (11:45 a.m.) is at the bus loop. Car rider procedures for early dismissal are as follow:

o  From Bates Avenue, turn to Wall Street, turn left on Dixie Avenue, drive until you see the bus loop

o  Very Important: If you are sending a relative to pick up your student(s) at the end of the day, please make them aware of the car rider procedure.

·  For early dismissal (11:45 a.m.), car riders will be dismissed first. Once cleared, walkers will be released. Once cleared, any remaining students will be dismissed to the cafeteria where they will stay until end of school day.

·  School day ends at 1:30 p.m. at this time car riders will be pickup at regular area. Buses will pick up students at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 2, Wednesday, June 3 & Thursday, June 4.
