IRR Program Fees

Due to the specialized nature of the IRR program there are many additional costs such as insurance, international flights, communication equipment, rescue gear, development and maintenance of off-campus training sites, and maintaining specific certifications. The EMT, EMT II, and rescue classes also require specialty equipment and licensed certified instructors.

Basic Program Fee / $335/semester* / Begins with 1st semester after acceptance into the IRR Program and is charged each semester (except for the international semester).
CPR Certification Fee / $40* / Valid for 2 years. (Must maintain through entire program).
CPR Recertification Fee / $30* / CPR certification. Renew every 2 years.
EMT National Registry Fee / $70** / Valid for 2 years. (Must maintain through entire program).
EMT Basic Recertification / $70* / Refresher course and National Registry certification. Renew every 2 years

$250* / An additional equipment fee for required personal fins, mask, snorkel, and booties. This fee can be reduced if student owns personal scuba gear.
This is a three course program: HHPA 217-Skin and Scuba, INRR 351-Stress Diving & Dive Rescue I (2 classes in 1course)
EMT/ DiRT uniform. / $100 / Approximate cost- Uniform used for all IRR program. (5.11 EMS pants and embroidered polo)
Colorado Experience Tuition / $3,960* / Tuition based on 5 semester hours at $792/hour (this is the tuition rate for all off-campus summer courses).
Colorado Experience / $1,135* / Program operation fee. There is also a list of camping equipment needed- which you may already have
International Experience / $11,088* / Tuition based on 14 semester hours
International Experience / $6,100* / Program operation fee.
International Experience / up to $300* / Required immunizations. UC Student Health does not administer all vaccinations for international travel.
