Ø ONE RECENT CASE OF ROBBERY OF PS HAUZ KHAS WORKED OUT

With the arrest of one desperate robber namely Wakil Ahmad @ Sahil Khan aged 31 years s/o Shokat Ali r/o H. No. 587, Gali No 6, Old Mustafabad, Delhi, staff of PS Hauz Khas, South District has worked out a sensational case of robbery and recovered robbed mobile phone and part of the robbed amount. One motorcycle (make CBZ Hero Honda), used in the crime has also been recovered.

Brief facts :

On 07.12.13, Sh. Arjun Sharma r/o 122A/18, Gautam Nagar, Delhi, an Engineering student, while he was going on Aurobindo Marg in the morning, and on reaching near Green Park Metro Station, he was stopped by two persons, who came on a black motor-cycle. They robbed off his belongings including cash Rs. 3,500/- and his expensive Micromax Canvas HD mobile phone at the point of knife. While escaping from the spot, the criminals had even waived the knife towards few passersby and threatened for dire consequences, if anyone would try to stop them. In this regard, a case vide FIR No. 582/13 dated 07.12.13 u/s 392/397/34 IPC was registered at PS Hauz Khas and investigation was taken up.

Investigation :

During investigation, a team led by Inspr. Jasmohinder Chaudhari consisting of SI Sumit Thakran, SI Babu Ram, Cts Vijay Singh, Sudhir and Ravi under the leadership of Inspr. Neeraj Kumar, SHO Hauz Khas was formed to arrest the criminals. The team worked hard and developed criminal intelligence, which revealed that accused Wakil Ahmad who is involved in robbery case of PS Hauz Khas is hiding himself somewhere in Gokul Puri, Mustafabad, Delhi in the area of North East District. On 11.12.13, a raid was conducted in the area of Gokul Puri and arrested accused Wakil Ahmad @ Sahil Khan from Mustafabad, Gokul Puri, Delhi and recovered robbed cash Rs. 900/- and mobile phone of the complainant. Also the motor cycle (make CBZ Hero Honda) used in the commission of the crime was recovered, at the instance of the accused Wakil Ahmad.

Interrogation :

During interrogation, accused Wakil Ahmad disclosed that he along with co-accused Irfan @ Fanney has formed a gang to earn quick money. They used to move on motorcycle and scooter in the early morning to identify the soft targets moving on the road and robbed off their valuables and belongings. Accused Wakil Ahmad further disclosed to have committed around 50 such crime along with Irfan in different parts of Delhi. He also disclosed that they used to operate in South Delhi. Efforts are on foot to arrest co-accused and to probe in their other involvements.

Recovery :

1.  One mobile Phone (make Micromax Canvas HD Double SiIM), robbed from the complainant.

2.  Cash Rs. 900/-.

3.  Motorcycle (make CBZ Hero Honda) used in commission of the crime.

Ø One robber arrested

Ø Robbed ear rings and loaded country made pistol recovered

Ø One case of recent robbery worked out

A team ofPS Vasant Kunj North, South Districthas arrested one robber namely Bhola Nath @ Ashu aged 20 years s/o Suresh Chander r/o Village Bijli Pura, PS Sadar, District Sahjahapur, UP, who along with his two associates had committed a house robbery in Mahipalpur and recovered robbed gold ear rings and one loaded country made pistol from his possession.

Brief facts :

On 03.10.13, a PCR call regarding robbery was received at PS Vasant Kunj (North). Immediately, local police reached at the spot i.e. H. No. F-5, Mata Chowk, Mahipalpur, New Delhi and met the complainant, Smt. Deepa. She stated that she is employed by Jagdish Mishra as cook and at about 7.30 PM, when she and Sh. Jagdish Mishra were present in the house persons with covered faces barged in the house and robbed cash and one pair of gold ear rings from her at the point of knife. When she raised alarm, accused persons fled away from the spot, leaving their loaded gun at the spot. In this regard, a case vide FIR No. 512/13 u/s 394/397/34 IPC r/w 25/27 Arms Act was registered at P.S. Vasant Kunj North and investigation was taken up.

Investigation :

During investigation, a team consisting of SI Neeraj Kumar, HC Shashi Bhushan, Ct. Sombir and Ct. Matu Ram was formed under the close supervision of Inspr. Manmohan Singh, SHO/Vasant Kunj North and overall supervision of Sh. Ramesh Chander, ACP/Vasant Vihar to trace out the accused persons involved in the crime. The team members worked relentlessly and deployed sources to get clue about the criminals. Details of jail / bail released accused persons were also analysed. Finally, on receipt of secret information, accused Bhola Nath @ Ashu s/o Suresd Chender R/o Village Bijli Pura, PS Sadar, District Sahjahapur, UP was arrested on 10/12/13 and the robbed pair of gold rings was recovered from his possession.

Interrogation :

During interrogation, accused Bhola Nath disclosed name of co-accused persons as Jabbar and Dishan, both r/o Village Bijli Pura, PS Sadar, District Sahjahapur, U.P. Raids are being conducted to arrest the co-accused at their possible hideouts. During interrogation, it was revealed that accused Bhola Nath @ Ashu is a fruit seller in Mahipalpur. He along with his associates Jabbar and Dishan planned to commit house robbery in Mahipalpur to earn quick money. As per their plan, on 05/12/13, in the evening accused Jabbar and Bhola Nath @ Ashu went to the house of the complainant with knife and Desi Katta, while accused Dishan stood outside the house to keep watch. They robbed gold ear rings of the complainant and cash at gun point. On raising the alarm by the complainant, they got nervous and left loaded country made pistol at the spot and escaped from the spot.

Recoveries :

1. One pair gold ear rings.

2. One country made pistol along with one live cartridge.

Ø 5 KG OF FINE QUALITY OPIUM SEIZED.

Ø PRICE OF RECOVERED CONTRABAND IN INTERNATIONAL MARKET IS APPROXIMATELY RS.1 CRORE

Ø PROFESSIONAL DRUG TRAFFICKER ARRESTED

INTRODUCTION:-

On a tip off about illicit drugs, a team of officers of Northern Range, Crime Branch led by SI Sunil and comprising of HCs Kanwar Pal, Neeraj, Mohan Lal, Cts Anil Hooda, Vikram under the close supervision of ACP KPS Malhotra swung into action. Acting swiftly, the team apprehended one person involved in trafficking of drugs and recovered 5 kg of fine quality Opium. The recovered contraband is worth Rs.1 crore (approximately) in the international market.

INFORMATION AND OPERATION:-

On 11.12.2013, information was received by ACP KPS Malhotra that one Gurpreet Singh, a resident of Nehru Enclave, Alipur, Delhi and who runs a “Dhaba” under the name & style of “Dhan Dhan Baba Deep Singh” at main GT Road, Alipur, Delhi is indulging in the sale and supply of Opium in Delhi and Punjab would be coming to bus stop, Shani Mandir Chowk, NH-1, New Delhi to deliver a consignment of Opium to one of his contacts. A trap was laid there and one person Gurpreet Singh (age 28 years) s/o Hardeep Singh r/o House No.610, Near mini stadium, Nehru Enclave, Alipur, Delhi was apprehended and 5 kg of fine quality Opium was recovered from his possession. A case FIR No.202/13 dated 11.12.2013 u/s 18 NDPS Act, PS Crime Branch has been registered.

INTERROGATION:-

The accused was put to sustained interrogation. During interrogation, he disclosed that he procured the contraband from the border areas of Rajasthan and MP and is supplying the same to the customers of Delhi and Punjab.

PROFILE:-

Gurpreet Singh (age 28 years) was born in Fateh Garh Sahib, Punjab. He studied upto 5th class and was working as helper in trucks. He is married and has two school going children. He learned driving and worked as taxi driver in Punjab. Since there was no satisfaction from his job, he started dairy farm in his native village, but suffered heavy losses in the said business. In 2007, he came to Delhi and worked as tourist bus driver. During this period, he came in touch with some drug traffickers of Rajasthan and in order to earn quick and easy money, he also started to supply contraband drugs in Delhi and Punjab after getting the same from the suppliers of Rajasthan and MP. He used “Dhan Dhan Baba Deep Singh Dhaba” being run by his father as a cover for his drug trafficking.

INTRODUCTION AND TEAM: -

A team of officers of Crime Branch led by Inspr Arun Chauhan and comprising of HCs Tejveer, Deepak Tyagi, Cts Mohan, Deepak, Ajay, Sudhir under the close supervision of ACP Om Prakash Singh and overall guidance of DCP Bhisham Singh has apprehended an active robber/snatcher namely Shamsher @ Azad.

INPUT AND OPERATION:-

Information was received on 11.12.2013 by Ct Mohan that an active snatcher namely Shamsher @ Azad would come near Transport Authority, Loni Road, Shahdara, Delhi. Immediately, a team led by Inspr Arun Chauhan and comprising of HCs Tejveer, Deepak Tyagi, Cts Mohan, Deepak, Ajay, Sudhir under the close supervision of ACP Om Prakash Singh and overall guidance of DCP Bhisham Singh was constituted. A trap was laid near Transport Authority, Loni Road, Shahdara, Delhi and apprehended a snatcher namely Shamsher @ Azad (age 42 years) s/o Kalu r/o Gali No.8, 33 Foota Road, Mustafabad, Delhi. A country made pistol with three live cartridges and one stolen Santro car were recovered from his possession. A case vide FIR No.203/13 dated 11.12.2013 u/s 25 Arms Act has been registered at PS Crime Branch.

PROFILE:-

Shamsher @ Azad (age 42 years) s/o Kalu r/o Gali No.-8, 33 Foota Road, Mustafabad, Delhi. He was born in 1971 in village Sisoli, Muzaffar Nagar, UP. He studied upto 2nd standard. His father was an automobile mechanic. They are three brothers and one sister. Due to poverty, he shifted from his village and started working as a carpenter in new Mustafabad, Delhi. He is married and has three children. Due to bad company and to earn quick and more money in a short span of time, he started committing crime. Presently, he is an active robber/snatcher of North-East District, Delhi. He tries to snatch or rob valuables/money depending on the circumstances conducive to him. He commits crime with the help of his associate Riyazuddin, etc.

LeT MODULE BUSTED; ONE OPERATIVE ARRESTED

Towards the end of November 2013, secret information was received that a known Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) terrorist Javed Baluchi of Pakistan had been in touch with a sub module in Mewat, Haryana and a conspiracy to commit a terrorist strike in the national capital was being hatched. This information was further developed and it was learnt that a member of this module is moving in Delhi, Haryana and Rajasthan. In order to unravel the entire conspiracy and to take effective legal action against the conspirators, a FIR under the relevant sections of law was registered in PS Special Cell and investigation was taken up.

During the course of investigation, accused Mohammad Shahid, s/o Deen Mohammad, r/o Village Bazeedpur, District Nuh, Mewat; presently working as a Maoulvi in Noorani Masjid, Village Choti Mewli, District Nuh, Mewat has been arrested. He disclosed that he had joined the present module of LeT about six/seven months ago and since then, was being handled by local Mewat based handlers. He further disclosed that LeT had made inroads in the Mewat region and his local handlers, who are presently absconding, were in touch with senior Pakistan based LeT commanders and were at an advanced stage of planning a terrorist strike in the national capital. The responsibility entrusted to the arrested accused by his handlers was arranging logistics and communication for the terrorist attack.

The remaining members of this terrorist module, who have gone underground since the arrest of Mohd. Shahid, are being identified and traced. Further investigation is in progress.

NAME AND PROFILE OF ACCUSED ARRESTED

Anand S/o Sant Ram R/o D-1/56 Sultan Puri Delhi, age 30 years. He was involved in many cases of Robbery & Auto Thefts and was first arrested in the year 2008 at PS DBG Road, Delhi. He wanted to earn easy and fast money in short span of time, so he formed his gang with Pardeep and started Robbery & Auto-lifting. Anand is a listed BC of PS Sultan Puri, Delhi.
