1Overview of this Documentand of the Xxxxxx Project
This document describes Status Report #1of the Xxxxxx project. The team member who is identified as the Principal Engineer is responsibleto maintain thisdocument. Include in here a brief description of the project and end-product. This can be lifted from the Capability and Requirements document.
2Work Completed Since the Last Report
In this section you will describe the progress towards implementing the design you have conceived during the first semester. Status reports outline your accomplishments related to the Requirements and Capabilities documents, updates to the timeline, shortcomings and requirements change requests if needed.
3Issues that Need Immediate Assistance
If you have encountered any problems that require the assistance of the faculty mentor, sponsor, or course instructor, include them here. This is basically your cry for help!!! Also include any changes in requirements.
4Plans for the Next 2-3 Weeks
Tell us what you intend on doing within the next two to three weeks. This should be found in your schedule (GAANT chart), although you may need to make some changes from your plan.
