FAVOUR THAT BRINGS PRESERVATION

Reading through the entire Bible passages we see almost always that God has a way of preserving His children. God has a plan of protecting our lives and shielding us from the forces of the enemy. His plans concerning our lives are so good and beautiful.

Jeremiah29:11For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

In the book of Genesis 6, it repented God that he had created mankind. The level of wickedness had reached alarming levels. God made a solid decision to destroy the whole earth and wipe off every living thing from the face of the earth. The bible tells us that Noah however found grace with the Lord and he was preserved alongside his family

Genesis6:8But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.

When David was anointed king in place of Saul, that never marked his ascension to the palace. A series of battles awaited him. He had to fight the lion and the bear in the fields, he had tobring down the Philistine giant, he had to flee before the face of Saul. In all this and more, God preserved David till he ascended to the throne

In the book of Esther, the Jews were in a great danger. A decree was passed that they should be totally anihilated. They were left defenseless and awaited that dreadful day of their demise. Every place where the letters were delivered, the Jews broke into untold hopeless cries.

Esther4:3And in every province, whithersoever the king's commandment and his decree came, there was great mourning among the Jews, and fasting, and weeping, and wailing; and many lay in sackcloth and ashes.

The Bible tells us that Esther and theJews in Shushan held a three day and nightabsolute prayer and fasting. This marked a great turnaround. When Esther went to present herself to the king she obtained favor in his sight and the Jews were preserved. Tables were turned upside down and the Jews had power over their enemies

Esther5:2And it was so, when the king saw Esther the queen standing in the court, that she obtained favour in his sight: and the king held out to Esther the golden sceptre that was in his hand. So Esther drew near, and touched the top of the sceptre.

In the book of Matthew, Herod was filled with envy andhatred that he ordered all themale children to be killed. There was a gross outcry in the land. God had however forewarned Joseph in a dream to migrate to Egypt and preserve the child Jesus.

Matthew2:13And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.

In the book of Acts 28, Paul found himself gathering up a bundle of sticks to lit up a fire. As he gathered the sticks, a venomous serpent fastened on his hand. People really thought this was Paul's death. God however preserved His servant and he just shook off the serpent into the fire. There was absolutely no danger that befell Paul. The favor of preservation was upon his life.

In life we find ourselves trapped and overwhelmed by circumstances of varying magnitudes. This could be a failing business, a pending court case, battling a chronic sickness, failing marriage, looming accusations or so. In all this and more we have to trust God for preservation. God is still preserving His children. It is not a mere coincidence that you have spared some time to read this article, the word of God makes it abundantly clear that no weapon formed against you shall prosper.

Isaiah54:17No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

I pray that God will reach out to you today and preserve you in Jesus's name. I pray that you will receive favour that brings preservation over everything concerning your life. Believe this message of preservation and you shall witness the hand of God in your life.

Mark16:17And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
