The Ignite experience is designed to serve as a kick start to the freshman year for SOLS students. During this experience, students will spend time in the mountains of Heber, Arizona. Incoming freshmen will participate in a team challenge course, experiment with science related activities, meet with SOLS faculty, and bond with fellow students.
As an Ignite Mentor, you will have the chance to develop your leadership skills as you oversee a group of eight to ten incoming freshmen during their camp stay. If selected to be an Ignite Mentor, you will receive training in regards to leadership, team building, and problem solving. Most of all, becoming an Ignite Mentor is a fantastic opportunity to get involved with other students while having FUN!
Again, thank you for your interest in becoming an Ignite Mentor. We look forward to receiving your application. In the meantime, if you have any questions, please feel free to contact me using the information below.
Sincerely,
Joey Davis
