Dear Maysteel Supplier:

Maysteel has selected MIQ Logistics as our third party logistics partner to manage inbound less than truckload (LTL), and full truckload (TL), freight routing and billing. For any collect shipments for Maysteel you will need to route and schedule the shipments through MIQ Logistics using the Power TMS website. or by calling our load coordinator at MIQ Logistics.

For shipments less than 100LB, please use UPS collect on Maysteel’s accounts. The Maysteel buyer can provide you with the appropriate account numbers for each of our locations.

Supplier Quick Start Instructions:

  1. Request a user ID and password for Power TMS from MIQ Logistics
  2. Review the quick start training guide for creating a shipment and assigning a carrier

Supplier Quick Tips:

  • Shipments should be set up as third party billing with MIQ Logistics billing address
  • A shipment may be able to be picked up same day if the shipment is assigned in the Power TMS website early enough for the carrier to make a pick up later that day
  • Make sure that the Power TMS shipment status is assigned, not planned if you are ready for a carrier to pick up. A carrier will not be notified to pick up the shipment until the status of the shipment is assigned.
  • Using the Power TMS website is the fastest, most efficient, way to schedule shipments, but you may also call MIQ logistics at 1-800-723-9100 x2357. If you call MIQ logistics instead of using Power TMS website, please allow up to 24 hours for scheduling of a shipment.
  • The selected carriers and transit times may differ from previous collect shipments you have sent to Maysteel in the past. If the selected carrier transit time is not acceptable for a particular shipment, contact MIQ logistics for alternate options.
  • Do not call the selected carriers in Power TMS directly to schedule a shipment. Assign the shipment in Power TMS or call MIQ Logistics.

Failure to utilize MIQ Logistics for collect shipments per these instructions could result in Maysteel charging your company for the difference in freight expense if a higher cost option is used without Maysteel approval.
