2017 Fall Team Commitment Form

I, ______(Player Name), commit to play on the Brighton Bulldogs Fall Baseball team. I understand this commitment requires me to participate in all scheduled practices, games and activities related to Brighton Bulldogs Fall Baseball. Selection to the team is a privilege and requires significant commitment. I understand this commitment requires me to refrain from participating in other sporting activities that may negatively impact my ability to fully participate in the travel baseball program. Participation begins in mid August and will continue through October. I understand playing time is decided on a fair but not necessarily equal basis. It is influenced by a variety of factors including: attendance and participation in practices and games, individual player development and performance, team development, and in some cases tournament needs- putting the team in the best position to win. I understand that my unwillingness or inability to participate in practices and/or games may be reason to remove me from the Fall Team.

A non-refundable commitment fee of $300.00 is required to secure my player’s selection to the team by Sunday August 6th, 2017. You may pay online by visiting www.brightonbaseball.net

The commitment fee is applied to the total participation fee of $450 -$650 (depending level) required to play on the 2017 Brighton Bulldogs Fall Baseball Team.

I/We agree to pay and/or secure sponsorships for this fee. I understand all money/sponsorships paid to Brighton Bulldogs Baseball are non-refundable. The participation fee covers, but is not limited to, practices, uniforms, tournament and coach fees, insurance, and equipment. I also agree to participate in team fundraisers if the need or opportunity arises.

I/We, the parent(s)/Legal Guardian(s) of the above named participant, hereby approve and consent to the player’s commitment and participation in Brighton Bulldogs Fall Baseball. Further, I/we agree and commit to participate in any and all team events, including transportation to and from the activities. I also understand and agree that the coaches determine the playing position and playing time of my child.

I/We agree to provide proof of legal residence and age.
