AUTHORIZATIONS BY CITY COMMISSION:

1. Consider approving the minutes of the May 23, 2016 regular Commission Meeting as presented.
A motion was made by Commissioner Dixon and Seconded by Commissioner Porter to approve the minutes of the May 23, 2016 regular Commission Meeting as presented, with each Commission Member voting AYE, the motion carried.

2. Consider adopting on second and final reading Ordinance No. 1659, an Ordinance of the City of Pampa amending the Code of Ordinances to provide for the regulation of dangerous animals.
1. Alishia McKenney – 520 N. Frost St, #6 Pampa, TX – Spoke in favor of Ordinance.
2. Faustina Curry – 721 N. Russell, Pampa, TX – Spoke in favor of Ordinance and asked for additional neuter and spay regulations to be added to the Ordinance.
3. Roxane Funderburk – 1831 Lynn, Pampa, TX – Spoke in favor of the Ordinance but with increased fees.
ORDINANCE NO. 1659
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PAMPA, TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES BE AMENDED BY REVISING SECTION 2.02.001 BY ADDING DEFINITIONS AND REDEFINITIONS THERETO; BY REVISING SECTION 2.02.010 TO PROVIDE FOR INCREASED FEES AND A FEE FOR REGISTRATION OF DANGEROUS ANIMALS; AND BY REVISING ARTICLE 2.02 DIVISION 3 TO PROVIDE FOR THE REGULATION OF DANGEROUS ANIMALS; PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
A motion was made by Commissioner Porter and Seconded by Commissioner Dixon to adopt on second and final reading Ordinance No. 1659, an Ordinance of the City of Pampa amending the Code of Ordinances to provide for the regulation of dangerous animals, with each Commission Member voting AYE, the motion carried.
