Wanham Plowing Match Youth Barrel Race Rules and Guidelines
- Must be 10-17 years of age to enter the youth barrel race.
- This is a 3D race, with a 1 second split. There will be $500.00 added money.
- Prizes and payout will be Sunday June 24th after the runaway race.
- Cost is $40.00.
- One run per day, total of 2 runs (one run starting at 1 pm Saturday, one run starting at 1pm Sunday)

- Registration will be open starting at 9am both days, please register the second day so we can make sure you are in the draw.
- ONLY CASH WILL BE ACCEPTED THE DAY OF THE EVENT!
- All riders are required to check in. The check in will be located in the announcers booth.
- There will be a max 100 entries accepted. It’s a first come first serve basis. Please pre register to ensure your spot. There will be no holds and no guarantees that there will be spots available when registering day of.
- Once the race if full no other entries will be accepted.
- Do not call or message the day off asking if there is room, I will not be replying to anyone asking, as we are very busy setting up.
- Western attire is required.
- Only clean runs will count, best of two runs. (knocked barrels will be a no time)
- Entry fees will not be reimbursed if you choose not to run.
- A vet or doctors note will be the exception. (entry fee money will be sent back minus the admin fee)
- Any questions or disputes which arise during the course of the event which are not covered in the above rules will be decided and settled by the committee whose decision is final.
- If we have any timing problems such as the timer failing, you will be permitted to a re run at the end.

- It is full responsibility of the rider to find out the run times/schedule.
- Any verbal or physical abuse towards other competitors, staff and committee members will NOT be tolerated. You will be asked to leave the grounds with no refund of entry fee’s, gate or camping fees.
- Gate and camping fees are NOT included in your entry fees. Fees depend on what you choose to do, please see the website for pricing.
