Calling in planning applications – a change to the council’s constitution (Nov. 2015) states that planning applications can only be called in by the ward member that the application is based in. Proposed allotments at Pithiviers Close – Ashby de la Zouch Town Council has acquired land at Pithiviers Close. The Town Council has submitted a planning application for the site to be changed to a number of allotments. Mud on Burton Road in Ashby from development – Davidson Homes trucks are transferring mud onto the main roads. A resident has complained. The action taken by Davidson Homes has had little affect in removing the mud.
