Fraternity & Sorority Governance Structure
Advising and all non-conduct supervision of fraternity & sorority organizations at Linfield College falls under the purview of the Fraternity & Sorority Life Advisor. The Fraternity & Sorority Life Relationship Statement sets policies and regulations regarding the Fraternity & Sorority Community. The Fraternity & Sorority Life Relationship Statement is a binding agreement between the College and the Greek Chapters adopted by the Board of Trustees. Additionally the Fraternity & Sorority Risk Management document dictates risk management policies. Both documents can be found at linfield.edu/greek under the resources tab.
Fraternity & Sorority Councils
The Linfield College Fraternity & Sorority Community has two councils that oversee the community. The Interfraternity Council (IFC) oversees the four fraternities. The Linfield Panhellenic Council (LPC) oversees the four sororities. The councils are responsible for overseeing fraternity & sorority recruitment, the fraternity & sorority life image, and handling inter-Chapter conflicts.
