How To Use The Classroom Television Projection

A.  Using the Podium Computer

1.  Check to ensure podium computer power is on.

2.  Login to computer using MNU credentials (If no image appears on podium monitor, select Input 1 on Atlona remote. If no remote is available press Input on Atlona switcher until blue light appears next to HDMI 1.)

3.  Turn television on using television remote.

4.  Control room volume by using Atlona remote or computer. Television remote controls volume on television.

5.  When finished logout of computer and turn off television.

B.  Using a PC with HDMI connection

1.  Connect personal computer to HDMI cable located on top of the podium.

2.  Login to personal computer.

3.  Check to ensure podium computer power is on.

4.  Turn on television on using television remote.

5.  Select Input 2 on the Atlona remote. (If no remote is available press Input on Atlona switcher until blue light appears next to HDMI 2.)

6.  Control room volume by using Atlona remote or computer. Television remote controls volume on television.

7.  When finished with class, press Input 1 on Atlona remote or switcher and turn off television.

C.  Using the Document Camera

1.  Turn on document camera using power button on device.

2.  Select Input 3 on the Atlona remote. (If no remote is available press Input on Atlona switcher until blue light appears next to Input 3.)

3.  Image will appear on the podium computer and projected image on screen.

4.  When finished with class, press Input 1 on Atlona remote or switcher and turn off television.

D.  Using a Mac with HDMI connection

1.  Connect adapter to Mac and plugin HDMI cable located on top of the podium. (Instructors will need to supply the appropriate adapters.)

2.  Login to Mac computer.

3.  Check to ensure podium computer power is on.

4.  Turn on television using television remote.

5.  Check to ensure Mac device is set to Mirror AT-UHD-SW-52 (Airplay icon).

6.  Select Input 2 on the Atlona remote. (If no remote is available press Input on Atlona switcher until blue light appears next to HDMI 2.)

7.  Control room volume through the Atlona remote. (If no remote is available press up and down arrows on the Atlona switcher to control volume.)

8.  When finished with class, press Input 1 on Atlona remote or switcher and turn off projector.

Troubleshooting Tips

1.  Issue: No image appears when attempting to login to podium computer. Option 1: Press Input 1 on Atlona remote. If no remote is available, press Input on Atlona switcher until blue light appears next to HDMI 1.) Option 2: Press Video All On on the Atlona Switcher Remote.

2.  Issue: Volume is not working properly. Press Vol + or Vol - on Atlona remote. If no remote is available, press the up or down buttons on the Atlona switcher to control volume.

3.  Issue: Volume is too loud. Solution use only one sound source. Either turn the volume all the way down on the room audio controlled by the Atlona Switcher Remote or turn the volume down on the television sound controled by the television remote.
