The Academic Registrar, Makerere University invites applications for admission to the following programmes to be offered for the 2017/2018 Academic year:
- College of Agricultural & Environment Sciences (CAES)

Essential:Two best done of Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Agriculture and Geography.
Relevant:Third best done of Biology, Agriculture, Chemistry, Physics, Geography Mathematics, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Wood Work, Technical Drawing and Metal Work
Desirable:General Paper and Sub-Maths or Computer Studies

At least a Second Class National Diploma in Either Forestry, Horticulture, Agroforestry or Agriculture or its equivalent from recognized Institutions.

Desirable:General Paper, Sub-Maths or Computer Studies
Diploma Holds Entry Scheme
At least a Second Class Diploma or its equivalent in Tourism and Hospitality, Recreation or in any other related field from a recognized institution.
Degree Holders Entry Scheme:Degree in any area of study from recognized Institution

(i)Candidates should possess at least a Second Class (Lower Division) Diploma in Computer Science or any other Diploma with Business or Computing aspects from any recognized Institution.
(ii)Candidates who completed full series of CCNA training (1-4 stages) under the aegis of the CISCO programme.
C. College of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Resources & Bio-Security (CoVAB)

Essential:Two best done of Biology, Chemistry, Food and Nutrition, Economics, Geography, Physics, Entrepreneurship and Agriculture.
Relevant:One best done of Biology, Chemistry, Food and Nutrition, Economics, Geography, Physics, Entrepreneurship and Agriculture.
Desirable:General Paper, Sub-Maths or Computer Studies
Diploma Holders Entry Scheme
At least a Second Class Diploma from fields of occupation related to this degree programme as follows:
Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries and Aquaculture, Animal Health and Production or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
Degree Holders Entry Scheme: Any First Degree in any field of study from a recognized University.

(ii)Non-refundable application fee of Shs.50,000/= for Ugandan, East African and S.Sudan applicants or equivalent of $75 for Internationals plus Bank Charge should be paid from the following Banks:

(iv)Diploma Holder applicants who hold Class three (3) Diploma Certificates or Pass Diplomas are not eligible for admission and therefore should not apply, Except where stated in the Diploma Holders Requirements.
The closing date for applying will be Friday 31st August, 2017
WARNING:
(i)Applicants are strongly warned against presenting forged or other people's academic documents to support their applications for admission. The consequences, if discovered,are very grave indeed.
(ii)Do not buy any other documents not originating from the Academic Registrar's Office. Those who buy them do so at their own risk.
(iii)The Academic Registrar has not appointed any agents to act on his behalf to solicit for additional funds other than the application fee stated above.
