Receiving Communion at St. Paul's
If you are a member of a Lutheran Church Missouri Synod congregation and wish to commune here for the first time, please see the Pastor or an Elder first. Persons who are baptized members of another denomination that is not in Altar or Pulpit fellowship are invited to come forward for a special blessing. Please, cross your arms over your heart indicating your desire to receive a blessing. Please announce for communion by indicating your intentions on the reverse side of the attendance sheet. (These will be gathered during the opening hymn.)
Landscaping Committee
The Landscaping committee has placed fresh mulch around the church flowers, plants and trees but we really need the funds to plant more flowers, plants, and trees. If you feel so inclined would you please give to the Landscaping Fund? Contact Kathy for details.
We do thank everyone who has given funds for the Landscaping of the church grounds. We’re excited to get to work this spring.
If you’d like to volunteer to help, contact Pastor or Kathy. Thanks again!
Annual Reports
You may pick up your copy of the 2015 Annual Report on the table in the Narthex. Thanks.

The Perfect Wisdom of Our God Adult Choir
The perfect wisdom of our God, revealed in all the universe;
all things created by His hand, and held together at His command.
He knows the myst'ries of the seas; the secrets of the stars are His;
He guides the planets on their way and turns the earth through another day.
The matchless wisdom of His ways that mark the path of righteousness;
His word a lamp unto my feet, His Spirit teaching and guiding me.
And O the myst'ry of the cross, that God should suffer for the lost
so that the fool might shame the wise and all the glory might go to Christ.
O grant me wisdom from above to pray for peace and cling to love,
and teach me humbly to receive the sun and rain of Your sov'reignty.
Each strand of sorrow has a place within this tapestry of grace;
so through the trials I'll choose to say, "Your perfect will in Your perfect way."
Dear Friends
To begin with, I would like to thank you for your continued support for the Orphanages, hospitals and prisons of Easter Europe. The support has been both generous and truly great. There are 79 sponsors who help the orphanages, eight prisons, and three hospitals. Two hospitals assist moderate to severely burned children and one hospital is for the homeless elderly. In the prisons we try to work mainly with teenagers but we will help everyone who needs our help with the medicine and hygienic items that we provide.
Our ministry continues through the Christian witness of Pastors, our co-workers and the many Bibles that we distribute.
In the Easter season we know how good our wonderful God is to us. Thank you again for being an instrument of His caring.
The 2016 OGT “Mission Vision” trip to Russia and the Baltic Countries will be in late August and early September. Approx. cost is $4000.00. We have some seats on the van still available. Why not go and see your orphanage “first hand?”
The Lord bless and keep you! Pastor John Reehl

AND, every child will hear the Good News that Jesus, their Savior, is with us and abundantly provides for all our needs. He also protects and saves us—now in this world and forever too! At Barnyard Roundup VBS, as VBS staff you can live out the theme “Jesus Gathers Us Together” as you share the message and the fun with kids! If you can help full or part time, we have many ways to be involved to suit your schedule and interests. Contact Pastor Gifford for more information. Join us to see how Jesus gathers us together!
Glass luncheon sets (tray/plate and cup) from the church kitchen, which are no longer in use for special functions, are being offered FREE to anyone who would like them. A few are on display in the kitchen serving window and you may have as many as you like from the cabinets. These will be offered for 3 Sundays and after that, any left will be disposed of. Any questions, please see a Dorcas Circle member.
