CALL FOR ENTRIES – Space Limited to 45 works

*The NAA looks forward to welcoming summer visitors during the month of July with a special Members Open Exhibition to celebrate the symbiotic relationship we enjoy here in Newburyport between town & beach. We invite artist members to submit one work with an eye to the town or beach exclusively, or to both simultaneously.
· In order to install properly in the Hartson Gallery, we will accept the first 45 works – please contact the office to inform the NAA of your plans to enter a work by June 22; we do not want to turn artists away during receiving.
· Only one work per artist due to space limitations
· All work must have been completed in the last 3 years
· Maximum size 40” wide x 60” high (size limit includes frame)
· All work must be for sale
· Work previously exhibited in either one NAA Open OR one Juried Show may be entered
· All work must be original and conceived by the artist
· No reproductions
· No wet paintings
· Gallery wrapped canvas must have deep profile stretcher, stapled on back w/gessoed or painted sides
· Acceptable hardware for wood frames: screw-eyes or d-rings
· Acceptable hardware for metal frames: hardware that screws secure in track (not sliding)
· No saw tooth hangers, spring clips, tension mounts, standing photo frames, or pop-in frames
It is strongly recommended artists enter the show online by visiting the NAA website, www.newburyportart.org.

Receiving: Monday, July 2, 11-5pm
Pick-up: Sunday, July 22, 1-5pm and Monday, July 23, 11-5pm
