TheRockIsland ArsenalChapteroftheAUSA willhold its18thAnnual Golf OutingFundraiseron Friday,September 8, 2017, at the beautifulArsenalIslandGolfCourse. AUSAis a 501(c)(3)non-profit educationalorganizationthatsupports America’s Army– Active, NationalGuard,Reserve, Civilians, Retirees, GovernmentCivilians,WoundedWarriors,Veterans, andtheirfamilymembers. Proceeds from this eventareusedtofundallofourChapteractivities includingourSoldierFamilySupportprograms, VeteranSupportinitiatives andthe RIA AUSAScholarship program. For thirtythree years,our Chapterhassupported initiativesto strengthenthe viability of the Arsenal, through educational programs, sponsorVeteran Support programs and we have contributedthousands of dollars forSoldierFamilyneeds.
AUSAis anationalorganizationconsistingofChapterswithindividualandcorporate memberships interested inmaintainingastrongmilitaryanddefendingthe interests of the United StatesArmy. Revenues generatedbyourChapterstayinthe Chapterto continueto supportlocalprograms.
