TERMS OF REFERENCE AND JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE: / Corporate Fundraising Manager
RESPONSIBLE TO: / Director of Fundraising
LINE MANAGER FOR: / Account managers and volunteers managing specific corporate relationships
PURPOSE OF JOB: / To develop new corporate support for Hft such as (but not limited to) corporate donations, sponsorship, preferred brands, memberships.
1.  Working with the Director of Fundraising, create and manage a corporate fundraising strategy including the budget needed to deliver it
2.  Deliver against income targets by closing deals with businesses in sponsorship, corporate social responsibility, brand relationship and Charity of the Year (CotY) partnerships, as agreed with the Director of Fundraising
3.  Identify and develop new corporate leads and relationships by maintaining a pipeline of corporate prospects from a range of different companies and creating a network of contacts and support
4.  Ensure the Raisers Edge database relating to corporate fundraising is maintained by working with the Database Officers
5.  Work closely with other teams within fundraising to ensure optimal lifetime value for each corporate partner while ensuring cross team income targets are recognised
6.  Work closely with internal teams to develop opportunities for corporate partners and to ensure that potential agreements are mutually beneficial and deliverable
7.  Prepare and present compelling proposals to corporate prospects
8.  Develop Hft’s sponsorship programme to identify new and innovative sources of predominately unrestricted income in line with Hft’s vision, values and fundraising strategic plan
9.  Keep up to date on corporate agendas as well as best practice developments
10. Maintain a strong external profile on behalf of the charity, representing Hft at events as agreed with the Director of Fundraising and joining relevant corporate membership bodies
11. Engage colleagues and the senior management team in appropriate relationship building activities with key prospects.
12. Analyse and report on successes and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) as agreed with the Director of Fundraising
