1.  (#2) Visibly include issues of sexual orientation and gender identity/expression in our framework for diversity

2.  Create a standing action committee to address LGBT issues (institutionalize)

3.  Have a clear and visible procedure for reporting LGBT bias and hate crimes

4.  Have a bias incident team with methods for supporting the affected person(s) that also includes an educational function to prevent future incidences from occurring.

2.  Hold events/activities to increase awareness of LGBT experiences and concerns

1.  There is a need for a staff member to support LGBT students, increase campus awareness of LGBT issues, do outreach and recruiting of LGBT students

2.  Integrate LGBT issues into existing curriculum

3.  Develop LGBT-focused courses

4.  Include and address LGBT issues in new staff/faculty training

5.  Have social events specifically for LGBT students and underrepresented/multicultural LGBT students

6.  Do outreach and education for prevention of bias

7.  District Police should do outreach to LGBT and meet with LGBT student leaders

8.  Train officers on sexual orientation, gender identity/expression issues, and anti-trans violence
