Dear Colleagues and Fellow SGMP Members.

This year’s word is MOMENTUM! We are so proud of what we’ve achieved with respect to our annual SGMP Annual Silent and Live Auctions at the National Education Conference, that this year, as we celebrate the association’s thirtieth National Education Conference (NEC), we’re setting the lofty goal of raising $30,000 in New Orleans! It’s most certainly within reach, and with your contributions this year, we can make it a reality!

Once again we are intent on holding a thrilling and rich silent auction with a great abundance and variety of prizes, as well as a shorter and more elite live auction with some really profound and exciting packages!

The Silent and Live Auctions havehistorically been one of the association’s largest fundraising events and it can’t be accomplished without the unwavering support of our loyal suppliers. But it’s not only a supplier show! Anyone can contribute! Showcase your talents! Can you knit? Can you embroider? Can you bake? Can you provide a unique service? Do you know local artisans or chefs? The more diverse an array of items, the more we’ll be able to raise. Once again we are asking for your generosity and donations for the auctionas theNational Board of Directors and the Gilmer Institute of Learning arecommitted to providing unique, exciting andeducational scholarship opportunities to our entire membership. These efforts help to raise the funds critical to the Gilmer Institute of Learning’s educational mission and programming.

We are confident that both our planner and supplier memberswill contribute to make the effort a HUGE SUCCESS both in their contributions to the auction and in their bidding once on site in New Orleans!
