PEAK DISTRICT NATIONAL PARK AUTHORITY
CONCESSION FOR MOBILEREFRESHMENT TRADING
The National Park Authority wishes to provide a refreshment service for visitors at a number of its car parks and in so doing, support the local economy in a variety of ways – by employing local people, using locally produced foods or ingredients and using Fairtrade products where posible. The successful tenderer should provide a regular service at the site, especially at weekends and during the school holidays. Look out for the Peak District Environmental Quality Mark (EQM) – details on our website.
FORM OF TENDER
Tenders are invited for the sale of refreshments, including ice cream, during the hours of daylight only between 1 April 2016 and 31 March 2017 inclusive for any or all of the locations overleaf.
Conditions of Tender:
1.No other form of tender will be accepted.
2.A recent photograph and brief description of the dimensions and colour of the van must be submitted with the tender. The appearance of the van must be acceptable to the Authority.
- Please provide details of the range of food and drinks that you are offering to supply and your methods of recycling packaging and waste products.Special consideration will be given to applicants using locally sourced produce especially that which guarantees local traceability. Details of local suppliers who have the EQM membership can be viewed on the EQM website at . The use of Fairtrade products will also be welcomed.

5No tenders received after the closing date and time for the receipt of tenders shall be considered.
6. The Authority does not bind itself to accept the whole, the highest or any part of a tender submitted and other factors may be taken into account before awarding a licence.
