Drury Fund “2005/06 Community Impact Grants”
THE DRURY FUND was established at CFVI in 2003 to support and enhance efforts in the USVI related to public education, children’s well-being and youth sports.
The Drury Fund “Community Impact Grants” program will provide funding on a competitive basis to individuals and organizations for efforts that seek to assist with public education, children’s well-being and youth sports in the U.S.V.I. Individuals and organizations may request up to $5,000 to implement an innovative project in any of these three areas of concern. Applications in which two or more organizations will collaborate on a project may request grants of up to $10,000. Grant awards will not be made for travel or to support an organization’s operating budget.
FUNDING LIMITS: Awards in the Drury Fund “Community Impact Grants” program will range from $1,000 to $5,000. Up to $20,000 in total grants will be awarded.
ELIGIBILITY: Individuals or organizations in St. Thomas, St. Croix, St. John and Water Island.
SELECTION CRITERIA: Priority will be given to proposals where
· Project description is clear and well organized;
· Volunteers are directly involved in the project;
· Creative strategies and activities are used;
· Outcomes are measurable and substantive;
· Budget is realistic and funds will be used efficiently.

Successful applicants must agree to submit a brief written report and, if possible, contribute visual documentation on the use of the grant at the end of the funding period.
APPLICATION DEADLINE: Completed applications must be received at the office of CFVI no later than 5 PM, Friday, December 16th, 2005.
