3D Labs Oxygen GVX-1 and GVX-1 Pro configuration steps for use with RainDrop
Windows 2000
- Login to your system as an administrator
 - Download and install WinZip if it isn’t currently installed. This can be found at http://www.winzip.com
 - Open the driver file “w2k2160849.zip” and extract it to C:\Oxygen_GVX1
 - Click Start and select “Run”
 - Type “C:\Oxygen_GVX1\Setup.exe” in the Open dialog box, and click OK
 - Click “Next” at the “3D Labs Graphics Driver Setup” screen
 - Click “Yes” to accept the license agreement
 - Click “Next” to accept the default installation folder
 - Click “Next” to accept the default Start Menu Program Folder (The install process will run automatically)
 - Click “Yes” at the “Digital Signature Not Found” prompt to continue driver installation. This will appear two times
 - At the “Setup has finished copying files to your computer” window, select “Yes I want to restart my computer” and click “Finish” (Your system will reboot)
 - Login as an administrator after the reboot completes
 - Right click an empty portion of the desktop and select “Properties”
 - Click the “Settings” tab
 - Select “True Color” and set the desktop size to “1024x768”
 - Click the “Advanced” button
 - Select the “Monitor” tab
 - Clear the “Hide modes that this monitor cannot display” checkbox
 - Select “100 Hertz” for the Refresh Frequency
 - Click the “3D Labs” tab
 - Click “OK” at the warning dialog regarding hardware OpenGL
 - Click the “Advanced” button
 - Click the “OpenGL Support” tab
 - Select the “Stereo View Support” check box
 - Click “OK”
 - Click “OK” at the “Plug and Play Monitor and 3Dlabs Oxygen GVX1 Properties” dialog box
 - Click “OK” to apply the new settings
 - Click “Yes” to keep the new settings
 - Close the “Display Properties” dialog box
 - Click “Yes” in the “System Settings Change” dialog box to restart your system
 
Your system is now configured to view RainDrop in stereo
Windows NT 4.0 (Service Pack 5 or higher required)
- Login to your system as an administrator
 - Download and install WinZip if it isn’t currently installed. This can be found at http://www.winzip.com
 - Open the driver file “nt2160866.zip” and extract it to C:\Oxygen_GVX1
 - Click Start and select “Run”
 - Type “C:\Oxygen_GVX1\Disk1\Setup.exe” in the Run dialog box, and click OK
 - Click “Next” at the “3D Labs Graphics Driver Setup” screen
 - Click “Yes” to accept the license agreement
 - Click “Next” to accept the default installation folder
 - Click “Next” to accept the default Start Menu Program Folder
 - Click “Next” at the “DRIVER INSTALLATION WARNING” Dialog box. This will begin the automatic install process. Please read this screen carefully and follow the instructions carefully
 - At the “Driver Information” dialog box which will say “DRIVER SETUP IS NOW COMPLETE”, click “Next”
 - At the “Setup has finished copying files to your computer” window, select “Yes I want to restart my computer” and click “Finish”. (Your system will reboot)
 - Login as an administrator after the reboot completes
 - There will be a dialog warning you of “Invalid Display Settings”. Click “OK” to close it
 - In the “Display Properties” dialog box, select “True Color”, set the refresh frequency to “100 Hertz” and set the desktop size to “1024x768”
 - Click the “3D Labs” tab
 - Click the “Advanced” button
 - Click the “OpenGL Support” tab (If you receive a “3Dlabs Warning”, simply click “OK” to close it)
 - Click the “Advanced” button
 - Select the “Stereo View Support” check box
 - Click “OK”
 - Click “OK” to close the “Display Properties” dialog box
 - Click “OK” to apply the new settings
 - Click “Yes” in the “System Settings Change” dialog box to restart your system
 
Your system is now configured to view RainDrop in stereo
