Game Format

Every fifteen (15) minutes two (2) winning numbers will be drawn via a promotional ticket barrel, which contains a collection of raffle or cloakroom duplicate tickets. The Winner(s) have four (4) minutes to claim their prize. Re-draws will take place until two (2) contestants are found. Each of the two (2) winners are immediately presented with a voucher to the value of five dollars ($5).

The Winning Patrons are offered the chance to then play the Black Jack Spinner segment of the promotion. The winners may choose to gamble their five-dollar ($5) voucher and compete in the game of Black Jack Spinner with a deck of cards and the Black Jack Spinner wheel. Conceding players forfeit their voucher if they accept to play the Black Jack Spinner segment.

In order to double their voucher prize, each contestant must best the dealer in a chance draw to achieve a playing card score of twenty-one (21) or less. The player(s) that achieve a higher score (that is less than 21) than the dealer wins the round and doubles their money!

Once in play each contestant will be dealt two playing cards from a 53-card deck (52 standard playing cards and one Joker card, see Wild Joker Jackpot for more details). The Dealer (Host) will also receive two cards. All cards will be placed on the playing table face up, except for one (1) of the dealer’s cards. In order to achieve the highest card value (that does not exceed twenty-one) players may choose to perform a number of actions. Game structures are perpetuated through all three (3) possible Black Jack Spinner set.

Black Jack Spinner set

After being dealt two cards, each player may choose to do one of the following: (NB: As with standard Black jack or Pontoon, suit is of no consequence, Royal Cards = 10 and Ace’s = 1 or 11)

Spin

The player decides they wish to play for a higher card score or achieve blackjack (a score of twenty-one [21]). They then spin the wheel. Based on the number or symbol on which the wheel marker lands, the score is added from the three sources (the two player cards and the spin score.)

Stand

The player decides they wish to hold their cards and not spin the wheel, thus keeping their original card (only) score.

Surrender

The player decides they wish to withdraw their bet, prior to any action from the dealer in play. (This is only applicable in rounds two and three.) Calling surrender means that you are only returned half of your original bet.

Dealers (Host) Action

After the players have completed their part of the set, the dealer will reveal their hidden card and then spin the wheel. Although players may choose to stand and NOT spin, the dealer may not. The total score of the dealer in ANY given set must consist of two cards and a Wheel spin.

After all scores are revealed the Dealer will then announce the winner(s) and double the gambled amount of any players that achieved a HIGHER score than the dealer or collect the vouchers of any players that achieved a LOWER score than the dealer.

Special Rules

After the players have completed their part of the set, the dealer will reveal their hidden card and then spin the wheel. Although players may choose to stand and NOT spin, the dealer may not. The total score of the dealer in ANY given set must consist of two cards and a Wheel spin.

If a player loses in any given set they may NOT proceed to the next set, as they have no more vouchers to gamble.

If a player’s cards (and spin number if applicable) exceeds a score of twenty-one (21), then the player or dealer ‘busts’ and immediately loses the set.

If both a player AND the dealer ‘busts’, then the player will have their gambled vouchers returned, but may NOT proceed to the next set.

No other Blackjack or Pontoon rules are applicable to this promotion other than those aforementioned. This is not a game a blackjack or pontoon; it is a gaming machine promotion that utilises concepts similar to the structure of similar card games.

The host will settle all discrepancies and disputes and their decision is final. Using other card decks and cheating will not be tolerated.

Wild Joker Jackpot

At the commencement of each set, a joker card will be added to the fifty-two (52)-card deck. This is a Wild Joker Jackpot card. This card represents a jackpot prize, which increases (jackpots) after each week if unclaimed. If the joker card is presented to a player (in their hand, on the table) during their set, they win the jackpot and the joker is discarded until the following week of the promotion. If the DEALER receives the joker the card will be placed aside until the end of the set. Once the regular Black Jack Spinner set has ended (during which the dealer received a joker), the player(s) will be presented the reshuffled deck of 53 cards (including the replaced joker) to which they will carefully select one (1) card for each set they have survived (one card if they are in set one, two cards if they are in set two and three cards if they are in set three). If there are multiple players, the dealer allows the players to select cards in turn, alternating between the players from left to right of the dealer. If the joker remains unfound at the end of this sequence the joker is discarded until the following week.

The Jackpot is initially set at fifty dollars ($50) and jackpots by fifty dollars ($50) each week. The jackpot is awarded in “Club” vouchers or other non-cash redeemable “Gift” cards.
