The lodge issued two receipients of the scholarship fund a check for $500.00 each for maintaining a 3.0 point average for the last semester. At this time I wish to thank Wink O’Brien and Peggy Rumer for a fantastic effort by both of them for making the scholarship fund a huge success. They each gave unselfishly of their abilities for the past eight years.

Greetings from the Women of the Moose! Our January 23rdfundraiser withmulti-talented Comedian Homer Noodleman was delightfulas wasthe food! The Valentines Dinner was great.Everyone is invited to our fundraiser breakfast -the second Sunday, March 13th from 9:00am to 11:30AM. We do breakfast the second Sunday each month. Please come and join us! Every breakfast is cooked to order and gooood! Have a good rest of winter and a Moose Good Spring!

We would like to recognize Tom & Wink O’Brien and John & Peggy Rumer for doing the Golf Scramble all these past years. Great Job. Looks like the Moose Legion is trying to re-surface, Steak & Fish Night the First Saturday of the Month.
OK, time for the nuts and bolts. Last February one of our members told me that we needed help. I discussed this with Lisa and we both agreed not knowing what to expect. The Lodge was $42,000 in the hole. I got with the Board of Officers and regrouped. I’m glad to say year to date we are $10,000.00 to the good. The bad news is that the board members that were in charge for the loss want to come back and take “their” lodge back. The election April 6th is going to be very interesting. Let’s vote to keep going in the right direction.

The WOTM would like to express our appreciation to the 88 members and 23 volunteers that help made St. Valentine’s Day the success it was. Between breakfast and dinner we had a great time and everyone enjoyed being with other members, family and friends.
