SUPPLEMENTARY REGULATIONS

1. Maiden City Motor Club Ltd will promote a Clubman status Multi-Use Rally on Wednesday 29th December 2010 at Aghadowey Motorsport Centre.

2. The meeting will be held under the General Regulations of the Motor Sports Association.

(Incorporating the provision of the International Sporting Code of the FISA) and these

Supplementary Regulations and any written instructions that the organising club may issue for the event.

3. MSA Permit number: TBC

4. The event is open to all fully elected members of the organising club, the M.C.M.C LTD.

5. The event is a round of Maiden City Motor Club Championship 2010/2011.

6. All competitors must produce a valid club membership card at signing on, both driver and co-driver must hold a valid competition licence.

7. The programme of the meeting will be as follows:

The event will be contained within the Aghadowey Motorsports Centre.

·  Scrutineering held in Service Paddock 7:30-09.30 am

Noise Test will be carried out prior to Mechanical Scrutiny

·  Any Competitor not signed on by 09:45 may be excluded

8.This event will consist of 6 stages, the length of each stage will be approximately 1.66 miles of 100% sealed surface.

Cars will start at 30 second intervals. Beam timing will be in operation.

9. The event will consist of 8 classes as follows

Class 1 - Group N cars up to and including 2000cc

Class 2 - Group N cars over 2000cc

Class 3 - Clubman (Group A and modified) cars up to and including 1400cc

Class 4 - Clubman (Group A and modified) cars from 1401cc up to and including

1650cc having not more than two values per cylinder

Class 5 - Clubman (Group A and modified) cars from 1401cc up to and including

1650cc having more than two values per cylinder

Class 6 - Clubman (Group A and modified) cars from 1651cc up to and including

2100cc having not more than two values per cylinder

Class 7 - Clubman (Group A and modified) cars from 1651cc up to and including

2100cc having more than two values per cylinder.

Class 8 – All other eligible cars (WRC etc.)

Turbo engined cars capacity will be determined by cc x 1.7

Rotary engined cars capacity will be determined by cc x 2

Protest regarding class eligibility must be made before the commencement of the first

Official run

ALL VEHICLES MUST COMPLY WITH CURRENT MSA REGULATIONS AND

BE IN POSSESSION OF MSA STAGE RALLY CAR LOGBOOK AND MOT

ROAD TAX NOT APPLICABLE

10. Awards will be presented as follows:

Fastest Time Of The Day 4wd Trophy

Fastest time Of The Day 2wd Trophy

1st in each class Trophy (3 or more starters)

2nd in each class (5 or more starters)

3rd in each class (8 or more starters)

Fastest time winners will forfeit class awards

Additional awards may be presented at the discretion of the organizers.

11. The entry list opens on publication of these regulations and will close at the standard fee on Sunday 12th December 2010. The late entry will close on Friday 17th December 2010. Cheques/postal orders should be made payable to MCMC Ltd and crossed a/c payee. All entries must be made on the official entry form, please ensure all sections are completed including an email address and returned with entry fee. Entries will be accepted by post only. Entries by telephone will not be accepted. The organisers reserve the right to refuse an entry.

(NO COMMUNICATIONS SHOULD BE MADE TO COC OR SECRETARY OR ANY OTHER OFFICIALS FROM THE EVENT BETWEEN WEDNESDAY 22ND DECEMBER 2010 AND MONDAY 27TH DECEMBER 2010)

Competitors who submit entries must not cancel cheques if withdrawing their entry. Refunds will be issued minus an administration fee of £10.

THE NORMAL ENTRY FEE FOR ENTRIES ARE £150

THE LATE ENTRY FEE FOR ENTRIES ARE £175

(Entry Fee includes M.C.M.C club membership 2011)

Please submit entries early due to pressure concerning permit issues.

Competitors should be reminded that unless all entry forms are received with full payment, it will not be classed as a formal entry and will not be accepted.

13. The maximum entry for the meeting is 110. With a minimum of in each class is 3. Should any of the above minimum figures not be reached .The organisers have the right to cancel the meeting or amalgamate classes as necessary.

15. Provisional results will be published as soon as possible after the event at Rally Office in accordance with A61. Prize giving will be held at TBC on completion on the last stage.

16. The starting signal will be visual. The finish line will be indicated by Stage Rally Finish Boards.

Method of timing will be by Electronically Activated Beam.

17. Competitors will be identified by Competition Numbers displayed on both side of the competing car.(which will be supplied by the organiser.)

18.Marking and penalties will be printed in the appropriate section of the MSA Competitors yearbook H212.

19. Crash helmets and Overalls complying with current MSA regulations must be worn during all timed Runs.

20. A Driver’s briefing will be given in the paddock prior to the start of the event, and all drivers must attend. Cars must be ready to report to the start line on instruction of the Paddock Marshal.

Only one service vehicle per competing car will be allowed to enter the Service paddock with a maximum of driver plus 2 service crew.
