MEETING MINUTES
October 19, 2016
The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees was called to order by Mayor Petrie at 7:00 pm.
PRESENT: Mayor Petrie, Trustee King, Trustee Pirowski and Trustee Cirocco

Resolved by Trustee King, seconded by Trustee Pirowski to approve the Minutes from the September 21, 2016 Regular Meeting of the Board of Trustees.

MAYORS REPORT
Mayor Petrie announced that the construction has begun on Allen Street and Madison Avenue and that the roads will be disturbed for the next three weeks. Mayor Petrie stated that those projects are being funded through CDBG and CHIPs funds. Mayor Petrie reported that in lieu of the Halloween Party the Blasdell Volunteer Fire Company will have the Truck Room open on Halloween, as well as set up at JFK Playground for cider and doughnuts for the Trick or Treaters.
TRUSTEES REPORTS
TRUSTEE KING
Trustee King reported that she is working on plans for a Winterfest in January at Firemen’s Park. Trustee King urged motorists to be careful on Halloween night.
TRUSTEE CIROCCO
Trustee Cirocco announced that the official times for Trick or Treaters in 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm on Monday, October 31st. Trustee Cirocco also reminded residents that the overnight parking ban starts on November 1st and ends April 1st.
TRUSTEE PIROWSKI
Trustee Pirowski wished everyone a Happy Halloween and urged them to watch out for the kids in the neighborhood.

Resolved by Trustee King, seconded by Trustee Pirowski to authorize the Village Clerk Treasurer to advertise a Notice of No Parking on any Village street from November 1, 2016 through March 31, 2017 from the hours of 1:00 am to 6:00 am.

Resolved by Trustee Cirocco, seconded by Trustee Pirowski to establish Monday, October 31, 2016 as the official celebration of Halloween in the Village of Blasdell from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm.

Resolved by Trustee King, seconded by Trustee Pirowski to authorize the Village Clerk Treasurer to refer the unpaid water surcharges amounts to the Town of Hamburg for collection on the Town Tax Roll.

Resolved by Trustee Pirowski, seconded by Trustee Cirocco to authorize the Village Clerk Treasurer to submit all 2016 – 2017 Village Real Property Taxes to the Erie County Finance Department for collection.
