Pastor Gee opened up with prayer at 9:20 am. He then led us to Isaiah 40:28-31.

Isaiah 40:28-31

28Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. 29He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. 30Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: 31But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. (KJV)

This speaks about something that happens when you’re praying. When you pray, you take on the knowledge of God and his power. He gives power to the faint. This is also the reason we have to wait, because we need enough power to handle the situation that we’re facing. We need time to fill up - until there is enough power. God gives power to the faint;he does not faint. One of reasons that we pray is to keep us from fainting. We have to pull up to the pump, get filled up, and take on the mind and the power of Christ.

Luke 18:1“…men ought always to pray, and not to faint.”

The design is for us to gain strength - not to fall apart. Ifwe fall apart, we are saying something about ourselves. We must have absolute certainty of final victory! And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:1 John 5:14.

Isaiah 11:1-3

1And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: 2And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD; 3And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears: (KJV)

When we go after something, the greatest power that we have is absolute certainty of final victory. Everyone that asks shall receive. To him that seeks - he shall find. If he knocks, the door shall be opened.

“Shall” equals absolute certainty.

When you are absolutely certain – there is no way around it, no way under it, no way over it, and no way through it. You will not allow anything to affect it. It is absolute! (Evg. Murphy)

Closing prayer by Brother Bernard Torain at 9:45 am.
