Minutes of Inmate Pre-Screening for Clemency Session May 01, 2013The Inmate Pre-Screening Spring Session was held on May 01, 2013 at the Board of Pardons and Paroles, 55 West Main St, Waterbury, Connecticut. The following board members and support staff were in attendance:

The Chairperson called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m. and declared the presence of a quorum. Marjorie Carroll served as Secretary for the purpose of recording and transcribing minutes. The Chairperson recognized the attendance of all present at the Inmate Pre-Screening for Clemency session. The meeting agenda was for the Board to review Clemency petitions on the Inmate Pre-Screening Spring Session docket dated May 01, 2013.
At 9:35 a.m. the Chairperson moved that the panel enter Executive Session, pursuant to Connecticut General Statutes Section 1-231, for the purpose of deliberation on individual applications for Clemency, including matters which are and will be exempt from public disclosure, because of one or more of the following reasons:
1. Discussions of matters which may involve information, the disclosure of which, would constitute an invasion of personal privacy, pursuant to Connecticut General Statutes Sec. 1-210 (b) (2).
2. Discussions which may involve matters relating to law enforcement not otherwise available for public disclosure and disclosure of such matters would not be in the public interest, pursuant to Connecticut General Statutes Sec. 1-210 (b) (3).
Mr. Smith seconded. Unanimous.
At 9:55 a.m. upon completion of consideration of the Clemency petitions, Chairperson Atty. Tindill moved to end the executive session. Mr. Smith seconded. Unanimous.
The Board reconvened the public portion of the meeting, the following petitions were determined, by vote, as indicated:
