SAFETY RECALL NOTICE

Dear Valued Radar Customers,

This notice is sent to you in accordance with the requirements of the National Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety Act.

OMNI United (S), Pte Ltd, as the brand owner of Radar Radial Tires, is initiating a voluntary recall campaign in the United States to replace one size of a light truck tire, which were produced in between 52nd week of 2009 through 4th week of 2011 that were imported into the United States.

REASON FOR THIS VOLUNTARY RECALL

OMNI United (S) Pte Ltd has decided that certain Radar Radial RLT-9 tires specified below fail to conform to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 139 “New pneumatic radial tires for light vehicles”. If these tires are used in extreme conditions it could result in partial sidewall separation, although no property damage or personal injury claims have been reported with respect to these tires until now.

RECALL TIRES

The tires, which are subject to this campaign, are:

Tire Brand: Radar Radial RLT-9

Tire types: LT235/85 R16 120/116Q 10PR Radar RLT-9

DOT Serial Number : 5K SQ QR9 5209 through 5K SQ QR9 5309 and

DOT Serial Number : 5K SQ QR9 0110 through 5K SQ QR9 5210 and

DOT Serial Number : 5K SQ QR9 0111 through 5K SQ QR9 0411

DOT SERIAL NUMBER

All tires made for use in the United States are required to have the DOT serial number, where the last four digits showing the manufacturing date, located on the tire sidewall.

Example: DOT Serial Number : 5K SQ QR9 0610

5K : Manufacture’s Plant code 06 :week of manufacture

SQ : Tire Size Code 10 :year of manufacture

QR9 : Tire Type Code

REPLACEMENT OF RECALLED TYRE

If you own recalled tires, please contact the Radar dealer from whom you purchase the tire to schedule an appointment to replace the tire. Replacement tires are readily available, and in the event that your dealer does not have them in stock, replacements will be ordered for you. The recalled tire will be replaced free of charge. Please take this letter to the dealer at the time of your appointment.

EXPIRATION DATE

This campaign will expire on 5th July 2012, therefore it is important that you act as soon as possible, while your tires are covered by this recall campaign.

We regret the inconvenience that this recall campaign may cause you, but we are certain you will understand our interest in your safety and trust of our Radar tires.
