SENIORS:The Chelsea High School Common Scholarship application is now available. This application allows you to be considered for up to 30 plus scholarship opportunities that can help you pay for college. Don’t miss this great opportunity. SENIORS--The Chelsea Rotary Club is offering $1,500 scholarships to 3 CHS seniors. You must be a Chelsea resident, provide a letter of recommendation, and write a quality essay. SENIORS-The MGH Chelsea Health Center is offering a $1,000 scholarship for aCHS students who plan a career in health care, The MGH-Desmond/Eavey Family Scholarship. Money is to be used for tuition payment for a college or health career-training program. SENIORS-The Harry B. Sherr and Charles B. Sherr Scholarship Awards applications are now available. These awards will be given to two CHS seniors that demonstrated academic achievement, participated in activities in and outside of school and have financial need. Each award has a value of $500. SENIORS-Jason Berger Memorial Scholarship is offering a scholarship in the amount of $2,000. You must submit an essay using the criteria outlined on the scholarship application. SENIORS- TheChelsea Teachers’ Union Academic Giftis offering 3 gifts in the amounts of $1,000 to students who complete all of the requirements of the gift. Preference will be given to students who are planning a career in education, health, or human services. SENIORS-The Janice M. Scott Memorial Scholarship Fund is offering scholarship opportunities for up three to five scholarships of up to $2,500. In order to qualify you must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident of the U.S., have a GPA of 3.0+ and have demonstrated leadership abilities through participating in community services or other extra curricular activities.
