Committee Reports

Fundraiser Committee Project #1: Diana G.

Staff Council would like to sell IU Woven Throws. The throw would reflect IUK’s Taylor Street start to the present location. OCM would create the design. First 100 would be approximately $3200 to the company. SC would sell the throws for $45 each (totaling $4500), which would make a profit of $1300.

A motion by Tara, second by Debbie, to go with the initial blanket, work with OCM for design, and purchase 100 to sell for $45 each. Motion passed.

Fundraiser Committee Project #2: Tara

Following the IUK Throw project, the Fundraiser Committee would like to put together an IUK Cookbook. A sample cookbook from Fund Kraft was circulated that was created for a child heart patient. These books sold for $10 each. Tara would like to start collecting recipes now from everyone at IUK. It was suggested that we use the IUK Throw design as the cover for the cookbook. This item was tabled until SC can get a total of upfront costs.
