Seniors

Seniors who would like their ACT scores that they took in September sent to schools,

come to the Guidance Office.

Seniors who would like their SAT scores from October 3rd sent to schools, please come to the Guidance Office.

Information about the Maguire College Scholars Program is available in the Guidance Office.

Blue Mass of Thanksgiving

Our annual Blue Mass of Thanksgiving will take place on Wednesday, November 25thhere at Roman. In addition to being thankful for all our blessings, this will be a time to express thanks and gratitude to the members of our law enforcement community for their dedication and sacrifice each and every day. We would like to honor the parents of our Roman students who are serving in law enforcement.Students whose parents serve in law enforcement are asked to sign them up in the Office of Student Affairs. If you have any questions, please call the Office of Student Affairs.

STAR WARS DAY T-SHIRT SALE

Starting today, students may begin paying the $2 if they are interested in participating in the Star Wars dress down day without buying the t-shirt. Students must wear something Star Wars. Any student who pays for the dress down day by November 13thwill receive a free Star Wars Day silicon bracelet.
The last day to pre-order Star Wars Day T-Shirts is Friday, November 13th. All orders must be brought to the school store by that date. The $10 price of the shirt also includes the cost of the dress down day and the Star Wars Day bracelet.

AOH

Thursday, November 12thwill be the second Jr AOH Meeting of the year. We have much more to cover and encourage new members to join. Scholarship winners are required to attend. Also, we will be discussing a Clean Up Service Project at River Field scheduled for next Saturday NOV 14th, anyone in need of service hours is welcome to pick up a permission form and information packet at theThursdaymeeting.

TECH CLUB

The Tech Club will meet after school in the library onMonday, Nov. 16. All are welcome!

ASIAN CULTURES CLUB

There will be ageneral membershipmeeting for Asian Cultures Club tomorrow after 8thin room 35. All are welcome.

SADD

SADD will have a pretzel sale before schooltomorrow. Pretzels are your friends.

General SADD Membership Meeting after 8th period in Room 35 on Thursday. ALL ARE WELCOME!

WORLD AFFAIRS CLUB

The world affairs club will meet tomorrowafter eighth period in room 46 to plan the international student summit and model Congress. All members are asked to please attend.

CHESS CLUB

The Chess Club will meet on Thursday after school in the Library.

ROMAN RUN

The Roman Run will take place on November 15, 2015. Students can now register for $20. You can register online at:http://romancatholichs.com/2015-roman-run

Any student who registers and competes in the 2015 Roman Run will be entered in a drawingon Monday following the Run for latest pair of NIKEKD'sor NIKE ID shoe of equal value sponsored by the Alumni and Development Office.

CSC COAT DRIVE

The Kevin from Heaven Foundation is partnering with CSC and Krausey’s Koats to collect gently used winter coats to be provided to the less fortunate in your area! You can drop-off coats at these locations:

TENNIS

Any student that would like to join the tennis team is invited to a workout after 8th periodtoday. Bring your workout clothes, sneakers, and racket to schoolon Tuesdayand meet in Room 61 with Mr. Shanahan. If you need a racket we have one for you to use. Roman tennis plays in the spring but this workout is for new players who are consideringplaying. No tennis experience is necessary.

INDOOR TRACK AND FIELD

There will be a meeting tomorrow for all of those interested in Indoor Track and Field after 8th period in the cafeteria.

WRESTLING

Wrestling will continue pre-season work outs over the next two weekson Tuesday,WednesdayandThursdayfrom 3:30 -5:30in the Annex. The season beginsNovember 16th . It’s not too late to join the team, the team needs more athletes for the 160, 170, 182, 195, 220 and Heavyweight classes, see Mr. Gault if interested.

BASKETBALL

There will be a Basketball tryout meeting in the gym tomorrow at 3:15 for all who missed last weeks meeting.

VOLLEYBALL

We are having volleyball open gym at Roman tomorrowafter school3:30 to 5:30 pmandSaturday 11/148-10 am.

Anyone interested is welcome to come. No experience required. Hope to see you there.

BOWLING

Bowling tryouts will be held on Monday, November 16th at 3:30 PM. All bowlers should meet in the cafeteria after school. All physical forms must be turned in to Mr. Eaves before participating.

ARAMARK

New inthecafeteria: Two Fall themed cold sandwiches are now available.First, the Turkey Ba-BOOM sandwich: sliced turkey with spicy mayo sauce and Pepper Jack cheese on a sub roll. Second, Chicken Salad with diced celery and grapes, also on a sub roll. Both sandwiches will only be available for two weeks! Don’t forget to check out the new Menu for the month. MINISTRY

Mass or a Communion Prayer Service will be celebrated in the school chapel at thebeginning of 5th periodduring the week. Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays there will be Mass. Tuesdays and Wednesdays there will be a Communion Prayer Service. Anyone available at this time is welcome to attend.
