FR620 Summary –Enrolment Reporting Initiative - Independent Study Register

This FR focuses on the necessary changes related to the following register:

OnSISForm Updates

  • ‘Independent Study - Regular ADE’ field will be added to the student ‘School Enrolment’ form for secondary day schools only.
  • ‘Independent Study - High Credit ADE’ field will be added to the student ‘School Enrolment’ form for secondary day schools only.
  • ‘Independent Study - Regular ADE’ and ‘Independent Study - High Credit ADE’ fields to be collected three times a year (October, March and June)
  • ‘Independent Study - Regular ADE’ and ‘Independent Study - High Credit ADE’ fields are optional (online & batch)
  • Boards should only report the portion of ADE that was accumulated within each submission period.
  • ‘Independent Study - Regular ADE’ and ‘Independent Study - High Credit ADE’ fields will not be pre-populated from one submission to the next.

A new ‘Course Continued – Previous Year’ flag will be added to the Class Enrolment form to identify courses that started in the previous year and continued into the current year.

  • New flag applies to Secondary Day Schools, Night Schools and Adult Continuing Education Day schools only.
  • Flag will be pre-populated from one submission to the next within an academic year as long as the course is pre-populated.
  • New ‘Course Continued – Previous Year’flag will be non-modifiable when pre-populated.
