ART MUSEUM EXHIBIT BROCHURE GROUP PROJECT

Create an advertising brochure for the Art Museum to tell about the famous artists and provide a form for those who want to attend to fill out.

Include the following information:

What: A special exhibition on still life paintings called “A Day in Still Life.” Art critics will speak about the various paintings.

Where: The Metro Art Museum at 1200 Main Street

When: June 15, exhibit and speakers from11:00 am – noon, luncheon (glazed chicken breast, fettuccine alfredo, Caesar salad, dessert is either cheesecake or chocolate mud pie) to follow

How: fill out the form to register, price for the exhibit and luncheon is $20 per person. Those interested can contact the museum at (555) 555-5555. Registration must be received by June 1.

The middle spread should show only 2 images of some of the artwork and brief biographies of the artists. Select artwork from the following

  • Three Puppies by Gauguin
  • Three Glasses by Glackens
  • Flowers by Chagall
  • Apples by Cezanne
  • Peaches by George Augusta

The very back panel (when folded) should be a mailer with a place for addresses and a stamp. You need to provide to “To” address.

The panel that folds in should be the registration form.

The front cover panel should be elegant to attract the right target market and include appropriate information for a title/cover panel.

The document should use consistent design (elements, fonts, type size, etc.) throughout.

You are graded on how you work as a team (everyone should have something to work on at all times) and you are also graded on individual contributions to the team (any time playing games or looking an unrelated webpages will result in an automatic 10 point individual loss).
