Course DescriptionThis course will build a sound foundation in Spanish language through structured practice in listening, speaking, reading, and writing activities. It is also designed to be the first of several weighted courses leading to IB and AP exams. Students will gain vocabulary on global topics along with the standard Spanish 2 vocabulary through topical readings and varied media sources to increase understanding and communication in Spanish. This course is advanced, and goes beyond curriculum expectations of a standard course by increasing depth and complexity. Students will be engaged in dynamic, high-level learning. The pace of this course may be faster than that of a traditional course.
