PURPOSE: Participants will be challenged with instruction in all basketball fundamentals, including shooting, ball handling, footwork, defense, rebounding, and team work. The goal is to have each individual player better prepared for the next phase of their basketball career, whether it is middle or high school.
WHO and When: June 6th-9th entering1st-4th grade boys and girls: June 13th-16th entering 5th-8th grade boys and girls.
Time: 9am-3pm.
The first 50 campers signed up each week will get a customized Captain Shreve Basketball, Jersey, shorts, bag and FCA reading material.
Lunch: Will be provided each Day

COMPETITION: Each child will participate in hot shot, free throw, 1-on-1 and 3 point competitions in addition to the league championships. Each child will get a jersey and basketball.
DISCIPLINE: Part of becoming a great player is learning the discipline it takes to be successful. Each child is expected to compete with good sportsmanship. Players are to respect coaches, teammates, and officials at all times.
FCA: Each day the camp will feature a different message from the FCA in an attempt to teach your athlete how to become stronger in not only their game, but also their spiritual life.
Strength and Conditioning: Campers will be introduced to age appropriate strength and condition programs we run with our teams. They will be shown the weight routine, track routine, and strength and durability routine, we put our Gators through, which includes an intensive stretch and yoga routine.
