ITINERARY

Day 1: / Seoul, Korea / Center Mark Hotel or Similar

Upon arrival at Incheon airport, transfer to the hotel and check in. The rest of the day will be yours to enjoy.

Day 2: / Seoul - Daejeon / Interciti Hotel or Similar

After breakfast, meet tour guide at hotel. Leave for Gongju the ancient capital of Baekje Kingdom. Experience the tea ceremony with a Buddhist monk at Magoksa Temple, a representative temple surrounded by a mountain and rivers in Chungcheongnam-do Province. Next, visit Tomb of Muryeong King with the wall painting drawn on the number six tomb. Then continue to Gongsanseong Fortress, a mountain castle which was established during the Baekje Period. Transfer to Daejeon. After dinner, check in hotel and rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 3: / Daejeon - Gwangju / Holiday Inn Hotel or Similar

After breakfast, leave for Jeonju and visit Jeonju Hanok Village with over 800 traditional Korea houses. After Jeonju Bibimbab lunch at local restaurant, visit Tapsa Temple in Jinan, famous for the over 80 stone pagodas built by Lee Gapyong, a retired scholar. Then leave for Gwangju for hotel check in.

Day 4: / Gwangju - Yeosu / Hidden Bay Hotel or Similar

After breakfast, head to Boseong Green Tea Plantation that is very beautiful, full of green tea fields and cedar trees. Next, visit Naganeupseong Folk Village where you can observe the daily dwellings indigenous to the south provincial area. Then explore Suncheonman Bay Ecological Park, thickly covered with reeds taller than a full-grown man, and then stop by Yongsan Observatory to see the bay's beautiful view. For the last stop of the day, visit Suncheonman Bay Eco-Museum, established to provide a research & education facility to preserve the area's natural habitats. After dinner, check in hotel and rest of day is at leisure.

Day 5: / Yeosu - Busan / Novotel Ambassador or Similar

After breakfast, take a ferry to Odongdo Island where you can simply walk along the breakwater with 70 species of wild flowers. Next, visit Jinjuseong Fortress which is historically linked to the Japanese invasion in 1592. After then, transfer to Busan and head to Dongbaekseom Island near Haeundae Beach. Also, visit Centum City Shopping Mall, Korea's most sought-out shopping destination. After dinner, check in hotel and rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 6: / Busan - Gyeongju / Gyeongju Hilton Hotel or Similar

After breakfast, transfer from Busan to Ulsan and visit Ulgi Park, littered with rocks carved into interesting shapes by the wind and ocean. Next, explore Bulguksa Temple, the representative relic designated as a World Cultural Asset by UNESCO in Gyeongju. Explore to Gyeongju National Museum, Tumuli Park and Cheomseongdae Observatory. Lunch and dinner will be served en route at local restaurants. After hotel check in, rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 7: / Gyeongju - Pyeongchang / Intercontinental Alpensia or Similar

After breakfast, transfer to from Gyeongju to Andong and visit Andong Hahoe village, home to descendants of the Ryu clan of Pungsan and well-known for its traditional houses. Then, transfer to Wonju and visit Hanji Theme Park where you can get a chance to experience the Hanji making process. Then, transfer to Pyeongchang. Lunch and dinner will be served en route at local restaurants. After hotel check in, rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 8: / Pyeongchang - Seoul / Center Mark Hotel or Similar

After breakfast, transfer from Pyongchang to Gangreung and visit Jumunjin Seafood Market, including a variety of fresh seafood caught on the East Coast. For the next stop, transfer to Yangyang for a short hiking at Jujeongol of Mt. Seorak to enjoy the nature. After the tour, transfer back to Seoul and check in upon arrival.

Day 9: / Seoul / Center Mark Hotel or Similar

Today, take a full day tour of Seoul. Visit Gwanghwamun Gate, the main gate founded by the first king of the Joseon Dynasty. Next, explore Gyeongbok Palace, arguably the most beautiful and the grandest of all five palaces. Next, you will stop by ginseng shopping center. Then pass by Blue house, also called Cheong WaDae, the presidential residence. For the next stop, head to Myeongdong, one of the busiest places in Seoul and among Korea’s premier shopping destinations. Then explore Namsangol Hanok Village where there are five restored traditional Korean houses and a pavilion, a pond and a time capsule. Next, visit N Seoul Tower, offering panoramic views of Seoul and the surrounding areas. After the tour, transfer to hotel.

Day 10: / Seoul - Jeju Island / Jeju KAL Hotel or Similar

After breakfast, free till to meet a local driver and transfer to Gimpo airport on private basis for Jeju Island. Upon arrival at Jeju international airport, you will be welcome by a local driver on private basis. Transfer to hotel and check in. Rest of the day is free at leisure.

Day 11: / Jeju Island / Jeju KAL Hotel or Similar

After breakfast, meet tour guide at hotel. Visit Jeju Stone Cultural Park, designed to show the legend of Grandmother and the stones of the Five Hundred Generals. Next, visit Seong-eup Folk Village located at the foot of Mt. Halla. After lunch, enjoy Haenyeo performance which you can watch an activity of female divers who dive the ocean water to catch various oceanic organisms. Then continue to visit Seongsan Sunrise Peak, designated by UNESCO as World Nature Heritage in 2007. Visit Manjanagul Lava Tube that stretches for as far as 7.4km. For the last place of the day, stop by Shilla Duty Free shop. After the tour, transfer to hotel.

Day 12: / Jeju Island - Seoul / Jeju KAL Hotel or Similar

After breakfast, meet tour guide at hotel. Visit, Jeju Folklore and Natural History Museum, a place exhibiting Jeju's folk relics and natural materials. Next, move to Dragon Head Shore, situated at the bottom of Mt. Sanbang. Enjoy the Lunch, Korean traditional meal. Then, experience of picking up tangerine (Nov-Jan) or visit Teddy Bear Museum (Feb-Oct). Then visit Jusangjeollidae, also called Seaside Cliff, a popular spot due to an impressive pillar rock formation. After then, visit Cheonjiyeon waterfall, one of 3 major waterfalls in Jeju Island. After the tour, transfer to Jeju international airport for Gimpo airport. Upon arrival at Gimpo airport, you will be welcome by a local driver on private basis. Transfer to hotel and check in. Rest of the day is free at leisure.

Day 13: / Seoul - Home

Today, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back home as your trip comes to an end.
