Introductions were made.

Motion: The June minutes were approved as distributed.

The motion was made by Laura Henry, seconded by Ivan Wood and approved by the board.

Treasurer’s Report

Bank accounts were reviewed and summary statements were distributed for review.

Mason Track Club

The final event for the Mason Track Club was on June 26th. This meet included a pizza party for athletes and volunteers. In total we had 118 participants and many volunteers including college and high school students. We have received great feedback on the track club and feel confident that the program could easily grow if we have the manpower to handle it.

MABA

There was no MABA meeting in July.

MABA continues to look for someone to fill the positions of Treasurer, Assistant Treasurer, and Webmaster.

There may be a shift in the percentage that MABA receives from concessions.

Thanks to the great volunteers who are working hard to pull off this event. The T-shirt design looks great and all areas are shaping up for the big event. Please sign up for the 5K, Fun Run, and/or Zombie Chase and encourage your friends to do so as well.

Team Dinners

There will be 2 combined team dinners as well as 3 girls’ team dinners and 4 boys’ team dinners. Mike Marotta volunteered his wife, Barb, to coordinate boys’ dinners.Julianne Wood will coordinate dinners for the girls.

Other

Coach Afatato’s mother passed away recently. Please think of his family as they go through this difficult time.
