The Older Volunteer Award celebrates the considerable contribution made by older volunteers (60 years and over) to the work of organisations and groups across the city.
Belfast City Council supported by Volunteer Now’s Unlocking Potential Project is asking formally constituted groups and organisations working in Belfast to nominate individual volunteers for the Award.
This is an opportunity for groups and organisations to recognise and promote the contribution older volunteers and their volunteering make to the people and communities of Belfast.
Who can nominate?
Nominations must be from the group or organisation the person currently volunteers with. The group or organisation should be formally constituted.
The nominating group or organisation should provide services within the Belfast City Council area and should involve volunteers in this work.
