PHYSICS

(b) A lorry, starting from rest accelerates uniformly so that it attains a velocity of 56km/h in 2 hours. It travels at this velocity for 4 hours and is then brought to rest with uniform retardation after 3 hours. Using graphical method, calculate:

(i) the total displacement travelled by the lorry and

(ii) its acceleration

MATHS

The distance S metres travelled from a fixed point in time to seconds by a moving object is given by the formula S=2+2 – t – 10. Draw the graph of the motion for values of t from -3 to 3 at intervals of Y2 seconds using scale of 2cm to 1 unit on the t axis and 1cm to 1unit on the S- axis
