SIX NATIONS HINTS & TIPS

Whether you support England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales, Italy, France or are just a rugby lover, this will give you all the ideas you need to know to make your Six Nations party go off with a bang!!!

No party is complete without decorations. Use your country’s attire to decorate your living room, pub or club.

Once decorated up, onto the fun bit. Obviously all parties require a few games of your own and the drink of your choice. When the following things happen, drink from your can, pint glass or jug.

1. Any Team Score points
2. The commentator says the word ‘sensational’
3. The National Anthems Are Sung
4. Player is sent off or put in the sin bin
5. The Ref gives a penalty
6. The Ref/Linesman refers to the video referee
7. Half time is blown
8. Players get into a fight
9. Streaker! (Down Drink)
10. Full time (Down Drink)

Why not have a flutter amongst yourselves during a game, here are a few ideas:

  • Final score
  • Number of try’s
  • Top scorer

All of these can be done either in a sweepstake fashion or by keeping a table.

Here are a few fun ideas for your party……

  • Each person has a country and has to speak in that accent during the game.
  • Fancy dress competition – who can be the best-dressed country?
  • Each person cooks a dish from each country
  • Have a mini quiz

All of the 2009 fixtures can be viewed on page 2 along with a quick fun Six Nations Quiz.
