Job Purpose/Summary
To successfully recruit, manage and support a team of Regular Giving Managers who are responsible for recruiting new Direct Debit supporters (with the aid of fundraisers) to the charity in a variety of different commercial venues using face to face (F2F) fundraising methods.
Work to maximise income and create sustainable revenue for the organisation by analysing market conditions to identify growth areas; securing new national contracts and sites for fundraising activity and expanding the teams to meet this growth.

Accountabilities (Duties & Responsibilities)
Development
- Develop a business development strategy for each region assigned, to maximise growth and committed giving income.
- Develop joint objectives with the Heads of Community Fundraising to maximise local fundraising and volunteering support through the regular giving teams.
- Constantly analyse market conditions and performance to identify and respond to new growth areas and opportunities
- Work to secure new national business relationships to increase the number of sites available to conduct F2F fundraising
- Lead on the development of F2F fundraising campaigns and ensure they reach target key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Research new products and opportunities for the development of F2F fundraising; develop innovative regular giving campaign concepts and implement approved campaigns.
Management
- Develop and manage income and expenditure budgets and non-financial targets for the assigned region and monitor performance against targets including the development of monthly variance reporting.
- Monitor KPIs including cost to recruit, attrition rates, return on investment and percentage of invalid pledges received; and implement corrective actions to ensure KPIs are met or exceeded.
- Ensure all organisational policies and procedures are adhered to including data protection and complaint handling.
- Recruit, retain and support Regular Giving Managers ensuring effective induction, training and regular performance appraisals are delivered.

- Five GSCEs (Grade C or above) or equivalent, including English and Maths
OR

- Have been trained as a trainer or have had Sales training
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
Experience /
- Experience of managing a team
- Experience of staff recruitment, retention and training
- Experience in achieving financial and non-monetary targets and developing and managing budgets and KPIs
- Experienced in developing and implementing business development strategies for sustainable growth
- Experienced in prospecting, securing and managing significant and beneficial business partnerships
- Demonstrated experience in building networks/relationships and negotiation at a senior level
