The NOAA View Portal - Dan Pisut
● Esri ELA enabled them to explore new technologies such as ArcGIS Server and ArcGIS Portal
● Image browser for over 150 global datasets, web/map services, Story Maps (Data in the Classroom), Apps (SARSAT US Rescues)
● Collaboration groups: All - contact Dan to join!
● Portal - allow users to upload data? Not open to everyone really, but technically possible.
How Do I Weather My Map - Nipa Parikh
● IDP GIS - nowCOAST, Services
● Challenges: updating/ingesting data, time-enabled, labeling/symbology, Data discovery, feedback from customers
Making Web Services Discoverable - Jaci Mize
● NCCOS Geospatial Portal - archived data and web service come full circle. Full picture for each dataset in a single, ISO compliant metadata record.
● ISO template can be available ()
● Will it be made available via NOAA GeoPlatform? - Working on harvesting. Currently being harvested by West Coast Data Alliance.
● Those who are interested in service data discovery and access can raise their community voice to EDM to get this approach incorporated into NOAA’s service approach
Map Services: A Two Way Flow of Data - Ken Buja

● Data Viewer using Esri’s Web AppBuilder
○ Hosted at NCEI - Hawaii BioGeo Assessment

○ Washington State seafloor mapping
○ Participants edit feature services to ID future mapping areas
○ Hosted on NOAA GeoPlatform, uses custom user roles
○ Would like to migrate this to the WebAppBuilder
