2011 CONFERMENT OF FELLOWSHIP STATUS CEREMONY

CHANGE OF DATE & TIME

The 9th Conferment of Fellowship Status Ceremony of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria has been rescheduled to take place on Thursday April 7, 2011 at ICAN Centre, Plot 12, Kofo Kasumu Street, Amuwo Odofin, Lagos at 2:00p.m.

The decision to reschedule the Conferment Ceremony was informed by the forthcoming Presidential Election slated for Saturday, April 9, 2011. We are optimistic that the change of date and time would give Fellowship Award recipients as well as invited guests, ample time to return to their various destinations in order to exercise their franchise. Any inconvenience is regretted.

Please note that registration closes on Friday, March 18, 2011. Applicants are advised to adhere strictly to the set deadline. The website will be shut down at 12 midnight on March 18, 2011.

Friends and well-wishers may place congratulatory messages/adverts in the Award Brochure at a cost of N15, 000 per page. Payments and artworks must reach the Secretariat@ PC 16, Idowu Taylor Street, Victoria Island, Lagos on or before Friday March 11, 2011.

CONFERMENT OF FELLOWSHIP STATUS CEREMONY

The 9th Conferment of Fellowship Status Ceremony of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria will take place on Thursday April 7, 2011 at ICAN Centre, Plot 12, Kofo Kasumu Street, Amuwo Odofin, Lagos at 2:00p.m. At the ceremony, each qualifying member would receive a fellowship certificate and be decorated with a fellowship pin by the President of the Institute. This privilege will be accorded only to members who became Associate on or before January 1, 2001.

The cost of the event for each intending Fellow (with Council approval) inclusive of meals, entertainment and special award pin is N100,000 only.

Guests will be provided for at a cost of N10,000 only per person.

In view of the large number of members that are likely to participate, reservation will be made on a “first-come-first-served” basis.

ALL PAYMENTS MUST BE MADE TO DESIGNATED BANKS. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU COLLECT YOUR PIN VOUCHER IN ORDER TO ACCESS THE FORM ONLINE.

Application is STRICTLY online.

PROCEDURE FOR ON-LINE REGISTRATION

· Conferees are to pay the Conferment registration fee (N100,000) at any of the designated Zenith bank branches

· PIN voucher(s) showing the amount paid for each Conferee and each guest should be obtained from the bank

· Conferees should visit the web site address indicated on the PIN Voucher obtained from the bank and register online.

· The “FELLOWSHIP APPLICATION CONFIRMATION FORM”, would be displayed after clicking on “SUBMIT” button.

· Applicants are expected to print the hard copy of the Fellowship Application Confirmation Form and attach the PIN Voucher, Bank Payment Teller and submit at the Institutes’ Secretariat, at Plot 16, Idowu Taylor Street, Victoria Island, Lagos on or before Friday March 18, 2011.

· Applicants are advised to re-confirm their registration online three days after the date of registration, using the details on the PIN Voucher obtained at the bank.

Registration begins on January 11, 2011 and ends March 18, 2011. Applicants are advised to adhere strictly to the set deadline. The website will be shut down at 12 midnight on March 18, 2011.
