Thank you for your interest in serving on the North Carolina School Counselor Association (NCSCA) Speakers Bureau. My goal as the Coordinator of the Speakers Bureau is to promote leadership among school counselors around the state by offering a platform to share their knowledge on a variety of topics related to the practice of school counseling and to provide school counselors and other educational stakeholders, such as teachers and parents, a resource for in-service presentations and workshops on those topics of interest.

To be added to our Speakers Bureau and serve as a presenter for a workshop, in-service presentation or professional development, please fill out the application indicating your specific area of expertise and return it to me by mail or email. Your service would be offered on an “as needed” basis.

Please feel free to share this information and application with other professional school counselors as well as any colleagues who you think would be great speakers. The Speakers Bureau is not limited to school counselors and we are always looking for individuals willing to help advance our member services!

Do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or if we can assist you in anyway. I look forward to future collaboration!

Sincerely,

Dena Parson
