• Meeting Summary August 13, 2013

PG&E reviewed the agenda and safety message with the PRG. The meeting summary from the August 13, 2013 PRG meeting was presented.

(2)  Enterprise Secure File Transfer (ESFT) External Portal Oral Update

PG&E stated that it had launched the ESFT External Portal to PRG members on Wednesday, September 4, 2013. PRG participants commented on its use.

(3)  Independent Evaluator Request for Proposal Oral Update

PG&E provided the PRG with an oral update of the Independent Evaluator Request for Proposal (IE RFP) progress. PG&E confirmed the IE RFP schedule, identified where PG&E is in the process, discussed the shortlist and interview schedule, and described the next steps for the selection of IEs in PG&E’s pool.

(4)  Summary of RPS Compliance Report filed August 1st and Quarterly Renewable Net Short Update

PG&E summarized the Renewable Portfolio Standard (RPS) Report filed August 1, 2013 and highlighted changes from the June 11, 2013 quarterly Renewable Net Short (RNS) Position with the PRG.

(5)  2014 Annual Congestion Revenue Rights

PG&E provided the PRG with an overview of PG&E’s 2014 Annual Congestion Hedging. PG&E reviewed the annual CRR allocation and auction timeline, PG&E’s approach to nominating/bidding CRRs, preliminary 2014 CRR positions summarized by quarter and Time of Use (TOU), long-term CRR strategy, and next steps.

(6)  Quarterly Electric Position Update

PG&E provided the PRG with an update to the third quarter 2013 electric position and its energy hedge position. PG&E also discussed its local and system Resource Adequacy (RA) position and its capacity procurement position and limits for 2015-2020.

(7)  Quarterly GHG Position Update

PG&E provided the PRG with an update on PG&E’s third quarter 2013 Greenhouse Gas (GHG) position and its current forecast of its future GHG physical position and procurement and limits for future vintage years. In addition, PG&E included a discussion of the August 16, 2013 California Air Resource Board (CARB) GHG Allowance Auction public results.
