  2. WAC’s first meeting is this Wednesday at 4:00pm
  3. Talent Show Auditions 28th and 29th in Spratt
  4. Lionel Attawia, Student Governor
  5. Spratt Stadium: RFQ’s have been put out by the University; I was part of the committee that went through those. We have recommended a company that is from St. Joseph and has worked with us before (Remington expansion; GISC; Griffon Hall). The Board approved hiring them on the Spratt Stadium renovation.
  6. As far as I know; there is still no word on if the Chiefs will be coming back this summer. Dr. Vartabedian had a meeting with the St. Joseph Mayor, CaleFessler, and Kurt McGuffin on the topic.
  7. Centennial Ball is January 23rd. RSVP by January 16th
  8. The Governor’s Leadership Forum on Faith and Values: One of the most influential forums I have been to. It taught me that I haven’t been the best leader I could be and I am going to change this. Imagine what we could do if we built better leaders out of one another. What can we do to improve Missouri Western and make it the best University around.
  9. Senator Samenus: I need to be looking into what is in the best interest of those around me and not in my best interest.

  29. I am a freshman. I want to be extremely involved and be able to change the campus.

  31. Great Northwest Days in Jefferson City is coming up and we will be taking 3 E-Board members and 3 Senators.
  32. Vice-President Meyer: We go around the capital
  33. Senator Shewell, Byerley, Teasley, Mary Beth,
  34. Rosenauer: When I went about two years ago it was a great time. I would love to do it again.
  35. Teasley; I have not gone but I would like to
  36. Byerley: I’m not sure what I’m getting myself into, but it seems like a good networking opportunity
  37. Shewell: I went when Senator Rosenauer went and it was a good time. I would like to be able to go again and speak to some of those we don’t normally speak to.
  38. Senators Shewell, Byerley, and Rosenauer will be going to Great Northwest Days; Senator Teasley will be an alternate.
  39. Senator Teasley: I had a question for Senator
  40. Nicholas Brothers: I come just out of concern for the campus in what had occurred over break. I’m really disappointed in the action the university took when taking care of this and
  41. Tim Kissock dismissed this as a “Silly prank done by students with too much time on their hands.” The university is making it out to be a joke and “sweeping this under the rug”.
  42. Senator Greer: What exactly are you wanting us to do?
  43. I feel you have a position that allows you closer access to the administration.
  44. I would have liked to have seen the University worded this more explicitly.
  45. If they are willing to say that this is a joke and just a prank then how seriously are they looking into this and the safety of the university and the town.

Alpha Kappa Psi will be having an info night 20th and 22nd in Popplewell 204 at 7:00

Hear Your Union will be February 12 from 12-3 in upstairs Blum

SGA week will be February 17-23.
