On Sunday July 21st we have arranged a farm tour by tractor and trailor followed by afternoon tea at Fisherwick Lakes. Tour lasts 2 hours, suitable for all ages.

Great Food Debate. Thursday 15th August at 7.30pm at County Show Ground, Stafford. This is open to everyone, members and non members. This will be a debate about the demands on our food system and the challenge which lies ahead to feed everyone. Four people on the stage and it will be chaired by Marylyn Haines Evans. This is a FREE EVENT. We do need names tonight so we can book seats.
A Day at the races, Uttoxeter race course on Friday November 1st.

Hopwas WI are holding a Strawberry Tea on Saturday 3rd August at Oaktree Cottage, Hints Road, Hopwas, 2-5pm. £4 entry. Profits to Staffordshire Air Ambulance.
Anne is holding a “Strawberry Tea” at Callingswood, Chapel Lane. On Saturday 27th July, 2pm-4pm. Profits will go to Breast Cancer Care. £5 entry. Please try and come as this is a very important charity trying to help all those unfortunate ladies (and some men) who get this dreadful disease. Unfortunately at the moment there are a lot of local ladies who are going through breast cancer treatment the youngest who is only 34 years old.
